I am planning of buying my first car and i think am falling for this Toyota avalon 2003 model,please Nairalanders i need your advice on this vehicle i.e its fuel consumption,maintainance,parts and others. Thanks in advance. |

In this period of recession ? Don't even try that fuel sucker car, the engine carries six plugs like a jeep. Pls choose another vehicle with four plugs |

Go for corolla more rugged and consumes less fuel |

Toyota Avalon, the best amongst Toyota cars, V6 yes,fuel consumption very OK, I have had the car for 4yrs now, and it goes to the mechanic 3 times a year, I service it twice a year and I make sure I change the changeable yearly. Maintenance culture is all that matters, my brother that car na executive machine. Corolla na good car o,no doubt but Avalon na father. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Does your fist have to be a Toyota? You can always get a civic which is affordable under most conditions. Avalon is the cheapest Toyota in Nigeria now apart from the Sequoia, 4Runner,and Land Cruiser because those use more fuel. This is big eyes small stomach. The first thing is to ask yourself why the owner wants to get ride of a good car like that? If you think logically you know you can't afford to own it |

Actually, there is nothing wrong with owing an Avalon. He will enjoy it. He should just up his Avalon Year a bit, probably to 2006 model. sultaan: |
