Bring back our NEPA, abeg. I recall that during NEPA, my area gets about 12 hours of light per day. With DISCO, no light except towards month end in preparation for revenue collection, DISCO will begin to flash for one hour a day.

I agree with the person that said Fashola is the worst power minister we've had. In terms of works Fashola has tried but the Power Sector has overwhelmed him.

Under Nnaji, it was state-owned and he had control over it. Under Fashola, it is owned totally by private bodies which Jonathan administation championed. Can you still have control over what has been sold? By the way, Bola Ige performed better as power minister than their Nnaji now. And what legacy did Nnaji left self? Nothing! He was also trying to acquire part of the company now. Greedy ibo man, as usual.

Yes there is needs to make it mandatory for all DISCOs to provide meters! they are intensify revenue generation from the consumers only without power supply. A single local house with only three or four bedroom is charged at the rate of #9000 in a month.

Professor Berth Nnaji would have perfectly do wonders in our power sector but the must corrupt GEJ boot him out by not allowing the man to do his work. GEJ is the worse thing that ever happened to us as a country.

When a country have not added any tangible MW to its national grid in the last 20 years, you still expect the DISCOS to supply more energy to the consumers. The population have grown tremendously while there is no commensurate increment in the Energy generation.
Presently, in the area of revenue, Mr. Senator, The DISCOS generate more money than your NEPA and PHCN combined. Go and get your facts right.

If 5men share a tuber of yam today, will 20men still get the exact share from the same tuber?
That is the current situation of the Nigerian Power sector. below 4000mw since the past 20years, while the population have increased greatly since then.
