hopefulLandlord:i keep saying this: "that evangelism, is not only done when one carries the bible and start going from house to house". Evangelism as a matter of fact should be carried out more on social networks, especially a place like nairaland. i beg of you my fellow xtians, let us not keep silence and allow atheist sow the seed of doubt in the heart of fellow xtians who visit this section. dont ever think that your arguement and disposal of the folly of atheist is a waste of time. you dnt know how many soul you are bringing back to God through this effort.i want us to lunch this war against atheist from now on.we must nt tolerate their castigation and mockery of our lord Jesus christ.! in your free time i want u to take time to dispose their ugly accusation against xtianity. But hw can you do this if you dont: read and study ur bible, know and develop a personal relationship with the God you are serving and make researches.it is a pity that most atheist even know the bible better than xtians.we need to wake up i beg you. |

But no atheist stopped theists from posting their preachment now. No atheist compelled theist to comment on his thread now. No atheist is angry because theist commented on his thread. Why are theists belly aching because of mere use of language? Why are these theists threatening fire and lime stones. They should be patient for their skydaddy, to dump all atheists in hell now. |

akintom:And who asked for your help, when did you become a savior? You abhor paying of tithe to priests and pastors but you would rather spend the money on purchasing designer shoes, bags and latest technologies instead of giving it to the needy. The tithe paid in churches is sometimes used for the welfare of poor folks who you and your kind have no regard for . Kindly Google missionaries ministries, charitas network, St. Vincent DE Paul, JDPC, and numerous other associations funded by churches Human rights has nothing to do with atheism, you folks do not have any uniform moral standards so what are the guidelines you all have earmarked for upholding people's rights? I agree ICT has led to increase in depression and a growing number of self absorbed selfish people as more individuals spend time alone rather than socialize; which is the healthier option for maintaining good mental health, how is this a good thing? I didn't mean to call atheists satan but you all seem to promote what he stands for so what's the difference between you and satan? I'm amazed that you guys cannot even define exactly what you all stand for What you think and say affects people, I'm not surprised you don't know this as atheism promotes individualism and it discourages empathy so I kind of understand where you are coming from. Guess what? You cannot talk anyhow you want because you live amongst people and you might hurt their feelings, if you don't care about this then someone ought to make you sorry A war has been declared on you already the end of your devilish movement is near IJN. |

JackBizzle:Independent UK has a predilection for atheism . They are not a reliable source for information concerning religion or atheism . Very biased site . Even their readers complain . |

Pidgin2:I can understand how despairing and dreadful, the mere thought of atheism makes you folks feel. Am sorry to disappoint you, it's gonna get worst for the religious ideas promotion. Am particularly scared for you, in that out of myriads of positives of ICT, it's depression (which doesn't in the first place have ICT as its primary risk factor) that you can come up with. This is pitiable and symptomatic of how mentally reductive, the religious beliefs makes its adherents. |

JackBizzle:That's a lie. Most japanese belong to a religion called Shinto and some of them worship Chinese gods from Chinese folk religion . The ones who are atheists are more likely from religions like Buddhism, Confucianism , Jainism etc who worship no deities . So those Japanese are more like religious atheists . All I'm saying is that Japan is a deeply religious country . |

KingEbukasBlog:You are a clown that has never been to Japan or has a single Japanese friend. Most Japanese are atheists. A lot of the religions are only followed culturally. (If you had Japanese friends, you would know this) Jainism is not popular in Japan, neither is confucianism. Clown |

hopefulLandlord:dont misunderstand my reasons for opening that thread. i open that thread after all the pleads we made to seun, about having our own section fail on a deaf ear.(you can check my previous thread to confirm my claim) pidgin was right. it is now very obvious that the pourpose in which this religion section is expected to serve have been relegated by the constant arguements with atheists.you must understand that some christians have lesser faith and can be easily deceive by people like you. we need a section were we can groom ourselves and build our faith the more. but it is very obvious that seun and people like you are on a personal mission. so walking away like that and not showing loopholes in your lies is not proper as a christian. but it will be more better if we have our own section. |

Pidgin2 As long as its a religious forum, being for or against conventional religion is allowed. As a deist, I don't subscribe to any religion. Does that mean I'm not allowed to talk about my beliefs here? The moral framework generally accepted by atheism is humanism. Are you asking for humanists to be banned from here? After all, humanism is a way of life = religion as well. |
