Ram, Ram, Ram... 2GB ram is manageable but 4GB ram is preferred.

High performing chipset with great clock speed processor, paired with as much ram as possible (3gig minimum), great battery conservation plus at least a battery of 3500MAH.

The brand.
Samsung, Nexus, or nothing. tongue

I only check the RAM(2GB+) and SoC(Snapdragon or Exynos).
Every other feature can be replaced or enhanced but you can't increase RAM or change processor.

you say "every other feature" can be enhanced... How do u enhance screen resolution, dual sim function, screen size, camera quality, battery capacity, 4G compatibility... All these are key features.

Okay then, almost every feature can be enhanced. Happy now? tongue
The other features are optional ie they depend on the choice of the customer...

Screen resolution doesn't concern me, I see no need for 4K on Mobile phones yet, there are 4K monitors and I'm okay with that.

-Dual sim function is left to the buyer's choice
Most flagships come with only one sim.

-I don't take pictures so I don't care about camera. With proper hardware + software combo, an 8MP camera can shoot better pictures than a 21MP camera; the numbers are just gimmicks.

Battery capacity can be enhanced with either power banks or third party batteries like Zerolemon ( for phones with removable batteries anyways)

4G ability is a given on newer phones anyways, and I have a mifi that's compatible with all the networks in Nigeria. With a mifi you don't have to worry about 4G battery drain.
