Abuja was never meant to have high rents, its not an industrialized area, the movement of the nation's capital from Lagos to Abuja meant that the seat of govt moved to Abuja, hence the high rent due to the influx of politicians and power brokers.

All that has changed as Buhari has dried all their pockets in Abuja, eye don clear for greedy landlords.

Those who fail to comply will see their houses stay empty for a long time.
