Please, help me , I was trying to update my mtn zte mf 831 modem firmware in the process my laptop just went off suddenly, now my laptop is not detecting the modem, no lights blinking on the modem when connected to the system. Please any help will be appreciated Thanks  |

You would have to download the classic firmware and re-install in your device. Next time, backup a copy of your firmware before embarking on any upgrade. Not all device have smooth firmware update. |

I suggest to get an Uninstaller application(I use Revo Uninstaller But you can get any) and Uninstall every bit of the Software AND THE DRIVERS(especially the drivers thats the reason the modem isn't coming up,Unless it is physically damaged). Then re-install the modem normally. I also use ZTE modem and it has been giving me problems of recent but thats how i work around it. Best of lucks. |
