Exactly!. They either respond to the extremely mean fans or to compliments from their colleagues.

I don't even bother commenting on celebrities' pages, except when the celebrity is one I hold in high regard and he/she has said or done something really worthy of praise...and this is very rare, because to be candid most of them only use the platform to advertise their beauty and seeming life of opulence.

man this is def a pattern I have noticed with all of them. Even the Hollywood celebs. Like you, I myself don't even comment on their pics or posts.
