mediatek devices that have fast charge uses the pump express technology while snapdragon devices like samsung uses qualcomm quick charge...
now for your gionee m5 which is mediatek device,it uses d technology of pump express ..u see whn u switch off your fone u see an animation bkue charging as if its pumping ..if you connect d same charger in an infinix fast charger fone u will see flash charging... now d reason fr d pump express is to beat d time of conventional(normal) charging time.. when u r charging ur gionee. whn off..dat animation is always dere but whn it gets to 96% it turns conventional.. d reason is dis if it continues like dat bfr it gets to 100 ur battery will xplode

No wonder the Samsung charger I recently tried (14.4W) didn't show pumping sign
I'll get a charger when I get to Sango.

For those who will later google-search this, the simple answer is that A SNAPDRAGON QUALCOMM CHARGER WILL CHARGER A MEDIATEK PUMP EXPRESS PHONE AT THE SAME RATE, IT WONT JUST DISPLAY THE FAST-CHARGING ANIMATION.

Alsi If you have memory card in it. Remove it. Nd See if it still restart often.


If its rooted. You probably have deleted some system files.
