This admission is taken forever to come out.
if it ceases to happen this week, and by Wednesday next week, then I doubt something will happen this year again.

is that friend working in unilag? How can someone say there will be no admission list for a university PG? Where is it done anywhere in the world? Or you just want us to reply you and clear your doubts

Last year admission list was released on the 31st of Dec. This year's own might be next week probably.

Cos if you calculate, admission list came out before exam results last year. But since results came out earlier this year, admission list will be out before 31st of Dec. So calm down. Probably middle of next week.

You have to help us ask your friend that if there is no list then what will be? As in how do we know we've been admitted

UI doesn't release admission list for PG, once you are recommended just print your admission letter nd start registration, unilag makes everything look ambiguous. To me, releasing a list after you've been told you were recommended is tautology

They've always released PG admission list for unilag. Even they don't do it for this year, there will surely be a directive from departments/faculty or unilag itself once registration starts. So why not wait till you get a message from them?

Sorry, it's not a matter of you clearing doubts or not. All I want is confirmation. Is it true or not? And besides, we all need to get info about the current happenings as regards this list, it's way important so as to know what to do next.

Nope, this friend is a student almost rounding off his PG programme.

Maybe that is what they want to do too, but let's wait and see what happens. But in an official setting, I think the school should make it known to everyone on the PG site how it's gonna look like rather than putting us in the dark.

100% ,, was admitted last year.. Had to drop it because of proximity issue.
we receive mails at every stages of d application from received application to contacts made to your refrees nd thier responses to receipt of academic transcript to invitation for interview then recommendations which is d last. ( we were told everything that is happening to our application stage by stage).. I made earlier comments based on my experience with UI just last year, they have a lovely procedure my broda..
but to be fair,, UI had abt 13,000 applicants 2015/16 nd i heard from one of d unilag admission blog that unilag had over 25,000 applicants 2015/16.. I understand thier challenges.. " University of First Choice"

Hi Kalan and everyone. Pls what's the cutoff mark for mass comm? Scored 56.94 and was not recommended. Do I stand any chance at all of making it?
Re: Unilag 2016 thread by TheBlackChild(m): 7:59am On Dec 20, 2016
Hello,

You didn't mention whether you applied for full time or part time.

Last year, I applied for the same course (Full time) and I scored 64.73. I wasn't recommended, and I didn't make the list.

I guess you applied for Full time. I don't mean to dampen your spirit but your chances of making the list are very slim. However, you could apply for a change of programme type to part time ASAP, if you really want to be admitted; you have a good score for that.
