Whether now or before, the issue is that it actually happened. This Govt has failed us big time in everything.

I knew there was something fishy about that video. But quick question. How did one soldier manage to conceal a whole water tanker? Evil that men do.
Logistics requirement in conflict situation requires expertise. You can imagine what it takes to move men and materials from one location to the other in war situations. The soldiers need food, water and medication as they move from one war front to the other . That said, I hope the authority concerned will use the protest as lesson learned and prepare for the future

apparently 6 MONTHS is not recent enough in army parlance
The issue had been adequately addressed as stated by the army.

What the army is saying is, why rebranding it as a new occurrence?
Re: Army Reacts To Video Of Protesting Soldiers Over Maltreatment by OYAY(m): 9:28am On Dec 21, 2016
The admittance of this situation by Nigera Army is a welcome development if it were before they would have wave it off as the work of disgruntled element(s); however whether recent or long time ago or natural or artificial occurrence they should guide against such harsh condition for the fighting troops, therefore government of PMB must as a matter of urgency takes the welfare of soldier as a national priority so as not to be seen as defeating or fighting BH in social media.

The Board of Inquiry actually showed that, as at the time of the incident, the unit’s water tanker still contained water, but a soldier mischievously concealed it. That soldier was charged and punished accordingly Lol..,..... How one person go take hide water tanker? grin
He not only hid the tanker for days, but also watched as his colleagues collapsed due to exhaustion. Oops, I forgot to add, the mischievous one also starved himself too.

Do these people really think we believe this yarn?

so you believe that one person can hide a water tanker? then, the tanker should be as small as a water bottle.

YesNo:
ok.

so there was water in the tank

but one soldier turned it off

or the soldier mischievously concealed it.

what exactly did the soldier CONCEAL ? the tank or the water in the tank ?

and what is this explanation trying to conceal ? the truth ?
My thought too.
Is it that the soldier concealed the tank or the water in the tank? The soldier must be a genius.
No body is above mistake, so they should acknowledge their mistakes when there is one

Just just like how corrupt politicians hide & divert dozens of trucks filled with food meant for IDPs. it usaully requires only the driver & a store to dump the goods.

Besides them dey forest & am pretty sure military tankers have camo paints. But I might be wrong & naive

For the army to claim that this was 6months ago is an acceptance to the fact that all is not well

Good question @ bolded.
Others could not check until people started fainting? This rebuttal is very funny to me.

Even if the soldier did concealed, what exactly did he conceal? Is it the tank or the water inside the tank? Even if he did both, what was his angle? Is it to punish his comrades?
It appears to me that he didn't see water to quell his thirst either....
