I never here of mr eazy abi wetin una dey call am but I know techno since and I leave in lagos. If d easy popular sef ego b only for southwest. U wan compare am with alhaji techno?

Most nigerian artists no dey release album early, even Dbanj took over 2year of popularity b4 releasing an album.

Skalez and Orezi have been singing longer than Tekno before they were nominated for Next rated. So, what exactly are you guys talking about?

Is Wash, Duro, Where...(etc) not this year? All his major hit songs were this year, Holiday and Dance weren't up to the standard of this year. Some of his hit songs this year came out after July, that's why they were not in other categories. You guys don't know there is a period under review, just keep shouting achievement.
Don't act like he has been having hits since 2001.

Same tekno that collected best new act or whatever at some other international award, he didn't remember he wasn't a new act then? Abeg! Because Headies na Nigerian award, im come remember he has been there for a long time.

Even Kiss Daniel with all his effort didn't win one award last year. Yet dude was so humble, more reason people were so happy for him this year. Tekno should better learn humility from Tuface.

Each winner of Next rated each yr has never failed to disappoint in the subsequent year. With this Nursery School Rhymer, Zagada or whatever rubbish, I doubt if he would be able to justify the award next yr.

Before you quote me and say rubbish, pls ask yourself apart from his overnight popularity how deep, sensible or creative is the guy's songs compared to that of previous winners ? What complete sense can you make out of any of his songs without sounding like a psychiatric patient.

That's where you are missing it. Making album is not an achievment. Its the tracks in the Album that gives you success. You can't address me below my position and tell me I m not humble. Darey's "Pray for me" won two awards yesterday. What happened to other tracks in the album?

Tekno doesn't belong to that category and using an Album to judge an artist success is a No No for me.

Pray for me is the only song that meets certain criteria. Did you hear any other track on air play?
