Everyone qualifies, regardless of your course of study, just join early enough.
We had Engineers, Psychologist, History n International Relations, Economics as OBS Crew Members.

always exempted from doing strenuous activities when on duty, they basically tend to fainted babes, carry sick people to clinic, especially giving first aid.... Everyone knows them from their red cross insignia.... Even the soldiers give them way

yeah I joined red cross too u're exempted from drilling to cater for. Those tht may faint in parade ground. No requirement to join. Just walk to them nd request to join. They greet one another by saying RED O and u reply CROSS O and Vice Versa

D distance far small ooh all the way from idi-mangoro adigbe, its your route fine, am sure you only go out when needed, have you tried going out in the morning when everywhere is busy with shildren rushing to school and workers are hopping in and out of taxi for work before? Okay try that from panseke by 7:30am and check your time when you get to idi-aba and tell me later.

If you are talking about ewang estate road fine its a nice route to cut traffic but Don't forget she's still a novice in the town,
And then if you need to pass through that route from adigbe or panseke then the taxi man lld have to pass through ibara housing estate then then come out in front of gateway stadium kuto before linking to NNPC then continue the journey through ewang and abiola way...... So tell me how many taxi go gree waka all this one except u re luck with the one that will bill you.

Yes, being in a group gives you an edge but most importantly, try as much as possible to be in were you are very good at and can fit in perfectly. for instance, am good in sport and i joined them and it really paid off and it is the sole reason why i was posted to the state capital.
johnqueen too joined the redcross team and was posted to a good place but chumaster which is only good at chuing all his platoon babes and was posted cameroon. On a serious note, you could be the parade commander and still get posted to 'hell', try not to get your self into the defaulter's list. the nysc/nysc officials have their own way of punishing corps members.
