I have ported several times to INDIAN Rom, am BACK TO NAIJA Rom. Indian Rom is kool, but my first problem with the rom is, it MUST be rooted inorder for you to deal with 2 culprits that steals ur airtel in the form of unwarranted txt msg.

I noticed so many irregularities on Indian rom that is why i paid Money to a Gionee engineer guy in Abuja, to roll me back to Naija Rom.

what i noticed during my marriage to Indian Rom were:
a. My battery juice drops down too fast for my liking. shocked shocked
b. My MEID Displays: 00000000000000 when i dial *#06#. (why should MEID appear there instead of only IMEI?)
c. whenever, am sending pix or small video on whatsapp, it will just freeze, i have to wait a while, and exit whatsapp before it sent the stuff(Not so in Naija Rom)
d.Also, when new update is out, u won't get any Notification.
e. The fact that GNS_salesstatistic & GN_SalesTrack_GL connived and deducted almost 100 bucks for unwarranted text msg b4 i rooted and uninstall it from my former Indian rom, made me angry and port back to Naija Rom grin grin grin

The only advantage of the Indian Rom is moving app to SD, which i believe Naija ROM the Latest update will fix that.

The major reason that makes me stress myself in going far distance and paying money to port back to Naija Rom is a,b& c. grin grin

All these people complaining abt Indian rom ain't Tech Savvy at all.
I am on d Indian ROM n I ported 2 other people to d Indian ROM n none is complaining.
so if u don't knw hw to make d Indian ROM work for you. kuntinuu with ur 9ja ROM.

I think I found a way to stop the force closing of apps

First: Go to system manager then Close Eco mode
Also in the same System manager go to POWER
CHOOSE None.

The whole process might make the battery run faster but it's worth it and you can still put it back if you won't be gaming

That will do the trick guys. And thanks all for your suggestion and ideas... it really helped.

They would have to flash in a new rom...I think that's free..

Spflash tool on system then you'd have to edit your system's permission and UEFI/Legacy boot settings. If you are not that technical it's best you go to their office or I suggest you get this Intel on google

Do I need to do this if I want to flash in Indian rom, to port from my Nigerian rom?

Procedure on installing or using Spflash tool?
Using? Just download the needed rom. Load it onto the program by selecting its scatter file, the rest of files automatically link up. Firmware and upgrade then click on select.

Installing? Kindly Google search it.

if you are within the warranty period of 15 months, It will be replace free of charge.

which engineer is calling 37k? Gionee Engineer? which state are u based?
