Is not that Nigerian Govt can't liase with the Libyan government but Libya has 3 govt. Government of Tripoli backed by NATO, government led by General Haftar in Bengazhi and the ones controlled by ISIS. Libya is now a failed state.

Bro, abeg don't blame our leaders for this. Presently, am corps member serving in Edo state. Most of the citizens in Edo state have the this mentality of travelling to Italy and Libya.
If you talk to a secondary school student what is next after SSCE, the reply you will get is, 'Uncle, I dey go Libya be that, later I will move to Italy'. Even their parents aren't left out. If you want to make a great mistake in Edo state, give any of their artisans a contract of 150,000 Naira above. Just put it in your mind that the next time you will get to hear from him/her is, Libya. Edo state govt, monarchs and all stakeholders in Edo state need to stop their people from endangering their lives just to get to Europe.

I sleep many times before I could finish the write up.

This inhumane treatment wasn't like this when Gaddafi was alive, though the border was tight, but Gaddafi do compensate migrant that want to cross via the sea. about 9 to 10 years ago, Italy and Libya had an agreement about , migrant crossing which was led by Berlusconi and Gaddafi. But, the destabilisation of Libya by NATO caused this mess. Presently now, Libya is in a state of anarchy. only God can save our Nigerian brothers and sisters there.

if you have not read the Epistle pls try hard and read, it might give one an insight of how travelling outside be. Nigeria is blessed with good things good people good weather if Nigeria were like Libya immigrants will not suffer like these people suffered in the hands of Libyan authorities.

Gaddafi and his family did. They never thought that their reign of terror will come to an end one day.

The best advice i have for my fellow Nigerians is don't travel to a country u havent properly researched to hustle.

Develop your mind, body and hustle here legally or illegally.

The amount of monies people spend on some of these travel arrangements is enough to start some sort of business here
