This is why we fear death.

Fear of dying and not making heaven

Fear of our loved ones dying and will be missed forever.

Fear of dying in a violent,painful way; like accidents,ritualists,bullet etc.

If we are sure of life after, and dying peacefuly like from sleep, people won't be so much afraid of death.

They don't know that driving is more than ability to press pedals. I believe more than 70% of Nigerian drivers did not attend a proper driving school.

My company sent me to Germany to complete a project and in the six years i spent there i saw maybe 3 minor accidents. Mind you, Germany is a country where you can drive as fast as you can on the autobahn. 150kph, 200kph, 300kph, it does not matter. And no accident. Can you imagine? You know why? Because they know that driving is a privilege that can be taken away from you at any time. It is not a right. Do you know how much it is to get a drivers license there? Two thousand plus Euro. Who would want to loose all that money by being s.tupid. Plus, you have to bring in your car for yearly inspections. Nigerians think it is their right to own and drive a POV. It is not. Just because you can purchase a vehicle does not mean you should drive it.

Driver should always slow down whenever they are closing to juction to shave themselve from unseen.

Exactly my brother. Am always scared when am in the road because even if u take precautions yourself it does not guarantee those rough commercial drivers scratching your car esp in Lagos. I really want Lagos govt to be stricter with them. Lagos commercial drivers will do any speed not minding our God - forsaken pothole infested roads. Unfortunately when they have a crash there will be many innocent casualties. Ambode needs to look into this.

I witnessed a fatal lone accident yesterday. Please for those of us driving, always check your vehicles for unusual signs and it's is not advisable to go above 110km/hr anywhere in Nigeria.

Just be careful while driving, 90% of accidents are caused by carelessness. if the man was not so much in a hurry or was not so engrossed in the family fun or banter that was going on in the car,he would have been more careful and stopped to check the road before entering, and that would have saved his life and family.RIP to them
