So much money has been spent on the Olokola Natural Gas Project, yet nothing is on the ground.

According to a new document, Nigeria National Petroleum Company (NNPC) and its partners have spent over $546 million on it.

NNPC partners such as Shell, BG, and Chevron have pulled out of the project, putting it in jeopardy.

Due to the slowdown of work on the project, NNPC wants to relocate some of its staff to Abuja, and it is asking for another $4.5 million to do this.

These information come from an internal memo from NNPC, where the company budgets $12 million for her work program and other expenses for the next year over the same project.


Isn't there something wrong somewhere about this project?

OP, the $4.5 is to fund the project activities on value preservation and not solely for the relocation of the staff. Stop misleading people, read the second prayer.

Did you ask this question when Mallam Sanusi and co accused NNPC and Jonathan's administration of either unremitting or misappropriating $49 billion?

I asked because this was exactly what earned Mallam Sanusi the Emirship of Kano amid applauses from Nigerians and the then opposition notwithstanding the incorrectness of the disclosure.

Jonathan and Deziani killed the OlokolaLNG out of bitter hatred for the south west. Hopefully, that project will see the light one day.

Sanusi never disclosed the content of his letter to the president until someone in the presidency leaked it and he was put on the spot.
Amaechi was reported recently (I cannot confirm if it is true) to have said that he leaked the Sanusi's letter.

Jonathan and his goons destroyed this project amongst others for which obasanjo had already found foreign investors. Mr disfiguration agenda and madam frog face totally messed up the projects .
Olokola ,Brass would have been earning the country some good dough today
