We all castigated Goodluck Jonathan, when he as a President, firstly shun and kept mute when the story of the kidnapped Chibok schoolgirls hit the headlines. We all, kept him on his feet about the issue and made sure he performed his responsibilities.

Now, our dubious and media sold said ascetic and no nonsense President, Muhammadu Buhari, in the face of the gruesome murder of people in Southern Kaduna, Benue, East Nigeria and Kogi State, by Fulani herdsmen, has remained silent, saying nothing about the atrocities committed by the herdsmen.

Hypocrisy, tends not to be far from us, as our silence in this particular moment, ain't golden or good. It's a precedent we are setting. Giving weapons wielding herdsmen a helping hand and a reason to attack others.
Silence pervades the sphere; no public outcry, no protest, nothing, no solidarity with the people that had been on the receiving end of the rampaging herdsmen.
Na human being we dey talk about ooooo, permit my use of pidgin English, just that I am shell-shocked at the sealed lips, coming from the populace, executive and the Legislative arm of government.

It is as if, the people at the helm of affairs, seem to be enjoying the every day reporting of death in those in places.

Even the media is silent on this, same with the Social media. Everything in Nigeria right now, seem to be retrogressing, which makes me, wonder Atimes, If Buhari is still in control or that he just doesn't give a damn about what is happening to the people, who voted and supported him.

Forget about egbon Femi Adesina, PR spin, that President Muhammadu Buhari, doesn’t need to comment on everything and also because of Federalism. This shows, how clueless and insensitive those at Aso Villa are, nothing stops the Presidency from releasing a speech, (not as if he writes the speech himself) about the happening in those places.

This same government, was quick in rolling out press releases and media events to celebrate the defeat of Boko Haram, forgetting that the insurgent in the past one year, had shifted to the world known terrorist best used tactics of asymmetric warfare.
Even the US, Russia, Western nations, have found it hard, in defeating Islamists, even with their sophisticated equipments.
I wonder the selection of what to be the discuss or our prioritising, when the actions of fulani herdsmen, is same with what Boko Haram, has been doing since 2009.
President Muhammadu Buhari, taciturn in the face of this carnage, clearly shows where his support lies.

Are u not one of the sai baba praise singers?
payosehtor:
They are the reason why some of us will continue vote pmb for life so that corruption even if all he can accomplished is fight against the monster, corruption
Is it not the height of corruption that the kind of nonsense happening to ur tribe continues unabated? Yet u insult others who boldly demand an absolute revision of the status quo which includes an outright separation then u come on the side to wail about deaths of ur Tiv brethren? Keep deceiving yourself and supporting a bigoted tyrant that means u no good.

And the thread has been abandoned because it doesn't include IPOB and Biafran issues. Can anyone fault my calling this hell hole an evil contraption? A whole violent conquest going on in this 21st century! Tufiakwa!

The killings by 'herdsmen' in Southern Kaduna and other places in Middle best is condemnable! This is a huge failure on the part of government. We should not play politics with issues as this. Imagine if we are the ones at the receiving end of such cruel murders.

Even if the Fulani could kill half the population of my people and the middle belt in general, I 'll still support the man pmb cuz I see the only man in him who can sanitize the mess and impunity that hitherto became the order of the day in government. But have you forgotten so soon that the Fulani Hm problem started over 3years b4 Buhari came?

Good thing u agree u have it worse now. It means he is not interested in resolving the issues so how cme you'd rather half your people die than call a spade a spade?
Meanwhile do not peddle untruth. The middle belt crises with hausa-fulani has been on for far longer than just 3yrs ago. Go and study history and stop the lies just to justify ur unfounded support. Do u not have more impunity now than before? They boldly award contract for clearing grass in 100s of millions and u say he has come to tackle impunity? Well done.

Way out? Understand that u are first a Tiv man before some political Nigerian so ur communal interests should come first. Reach agreements with like minded persons and pursue same rather than remain a fulani ass-licker. Which fulani man supports a Tiv man?
