It has been more evident than ever, the mediocrity of the player so loved by man utd and real Madrid fans...
He used to bask in the euphoria of scoring 5 goals against small teams and shinning like a million stars in small games....

He won the champions league by doing nothing for 90minutes and scoring the winning penalty to celebrate like he single handedly won the cup...

He scored 3 goals in euro2016, after a whimpering performance and ddnt even play 30minutes in the final, only to snatch the armband to lift the cup....despite contributing nothing but a cheerleading performance to upsurge the coach from the bench...

This is a player whom they say engages in charity, and loves people YET shoves cameramen aside with aggressive gusto and throws their equipments into the lake....

Same man who will rather take 500shots at the goalkeeper rather than pass to a fellow striker.....but will get angry if the fellow striker doesn't pass to him....

Same man who will show his anger and rage to the world when a fellow striker scores...instead of celebrating with him.....

In reality....i believe he might win the balon dor simply because he won trophies BUT he was a paltry average performer in both tournaments....especially the euro...

Individual trophies are meant for outstanding performers who win trophies.....sadly penaldo has only won trophies (in absentia), and the start to the new season, leaves little to imagine..... Sloppy, and mediocre player....
Whose only claim to greatness is for sheer number of goals.....

As a footballer he is just an Eden hazard or worse....with more hunger to score goals....thats all.....
