For yoit own sanity the answer to your question is yes they do.Most Range Rovers are built in Britain and shipped to the USA and Canada . Same thing we import loads of cars from Japan to the UK cos they are RHD .

The only sensible post so far, Nigerians Dnt Know why they are poor, other countries, smaller countries are reaping us off but we prefer to be reaped off than to be liberated because we feel we get temporary benefit , it's sad.

Nigerians ship it to Cotonou to avoid paying duty to D govt, it's crazy, I dnt care if it's xpensive but what's right must be done

If you can elucidate more on this, I will be very glad. How have they(Benin Govt) been reaping us ? If a car comes through land borders, won't customs be paid the necessary tariff ? What is the difference between a car coming through the land or sea ? They all pay tarrif ? isn't it ? Could it be that paying tarrif to Benin govt and bringing the car to Nigeria to pay another tarrif is what the govt is trying to avoid ,?.

He did not ban the importation of vehicles.He only banned d importation tru the land borders.

It is not about Buhari's tenure. I don't give a damn whoever is the president. I just csre for things to be done right. In Lagos here u can go a day without seeing Innoson's motor but we see Chinese cars and Tatas. If the government can help to make these Nigerian Made cars available in all 36 states it will be way much better.

How does importing fru sea port boost forex ?
Land border or sea border or fru the Air is same tariff U pay .this will now encourage smugling corruption by custom officers who will let cars in.Nobody clears cars I'm Dollars it's all done in Naira
