All Time , Energy , Matter and Space came into existence in the big bang . So whatever caused the universe to exist since it had a finite past must be beginningless, changeless, immaterial, timeless, spaceless and enormously powerful .

So we have a universe which can be seen as an effect , and we have an uncaused creator who brought the universe into existence .
