truth be told, no policy(good or bad) can save us from the current realities on ground. we do not have up to $26b usd reserves they keep branding ( dem don loot am finish). signs of the proverbial end times.

My brother, I truly agree with your pessimism. It is gonna be hard for a nation that did not save in the time of plenty to be prudent enough to spend itself out of recession. As I see it, the wages of profligacy is recession and Nigeria, Venezuela and Egypt are right in the middle of it at this period.

The people I see in these pictures don't seem to understand economic policies in a recession. We all share the pains of the recession but I would ask, why are we in recession and how do we get out of it. If I don't know better than the economic management team, I will support them and let them work. If you must muster in front of CBN, what alternative solution do you have better than the CBN approach.

Wrong place. CBN does not sell dollars at 500 to the dollar! They do not even have their facts!

as much I don't support this current cbn and its policies....I have never seen emefiele as a good cbn governor I want Deji to understand something

What do we really produce as a nation....that will earn us foreign exchange
why is deji not protesting against his pay masters in APC AND PDP who specialized in stealing our common wealth especially during the last administration?
what has deji done or said about the people who blow up pipelines in the name of fighting for freedom and thereby deprive us of foreign exchange due to low income from oil sales.......

the cbn is just a tiny part of the equation lets protest and solve the issues, each time someone is arrested or prosecuted a bomb blows off then we say oh they are fighting for the emancipation of the niger delta, when they collect money they go and build universities in benin republic buy houses in Germany and buy private jets, some loot money meant for amnesty and yet deji sits with those people everyday
deji knows that the government is fighting a war a full fledged war, but is paymasters went to the cbn and collected 2billion dollars meant for fighting the war but channeled into pdp campaign.... Deji is a member of the pdp campaign team so he definitely shared dasuki dollars now tell me 2billion dollars removed from your vault will definatly shake any economy in the world including that of the usa

I hate hipocrites
Damn it. I love this post. These monkeys are still playing politics two years after election. The revenue accruing to the federation account is shared in a ratio of about 54 to 46. This means that the states are also responsible for a part of the economy yet this subversives and traitors have not deem it fit to criticize their governors to at least boost their local economies. Everything na Buhari fault.

Seems Nigerians are just waking up! Unfortunately, we have many places to occupy because its not just the CBN policy that's poor in this regime, something is sure wrong with every policy making body of this regime

Nigerians and propaganda. It is obvious to all that the protest against the CBN governor is sponsored by politicians. Yes the country is facing a recession but those calling for Emeifele's sack is not doing so for the good of Nigerians rather they are advocating for their pockets. The next CBN governor will be a pawn which they will use to loot. Please visit the below sites for relevant information on this issue

How can one country have 11 exchange rates angry

These guys have killed this country kpata kpata. The free fall is almost irredemeable angry

Hardworking parents not theiving politicans that have their kids abroad are suffering. Suffering to gather a little enough to send to their kids. By the time the money is converted, its just a few coins cry

Students too are finding it very difficult. We have become perpertual borrowers because of these dumbheads. Borrowing left, right and center just to survive in school angry No means for parents to send money to their kids. How does Emelife expect us to survive? No other country on planet earth do their students have as much difficulty as a Nigerian student abroad. Yet Buhari is carying Gambia's problem on his head like unripe mango angry

I have many things to write because I'm really annoyed but lemme just sleep.

The future of this country is very very bleak so I just need to work harder and provide my kids alternative citizenship where they can fully utilize their potentials. Nigeria is not working!

By the way, when is Zahra and Yusuf Buhari going to do NYSC sef? undecided

Godwin Emefiele should give Sanusi a call and ask for help, put pride aside the country is shutting down slowly, his trial and error policies is enough! Nigeria is not a Football match where you try different tactics in one day! If he cannot do so he should honorably resign and someone competent should take over!

So ludo and not Sanusi , Soludo has been the most useful CBN Governor we ever had

FRC Code of Conduct was used against Sanusi, albeit in a manipulative way. They asked him to step away in order to investigate what they eventually never investigated.

I think, people should replicate this kind of protest across the state's of the federation. Emiefele should have been removed long time ago. I said this in 2015 even before he started dishing out his useless economic strategies. He only works in a bank, he is not an economist like his predecessors people like Sanusi and Soludo.
