Recieving the Punishment of the Sin of their Fore-fathers. by optional1(op):
Why should the 4th generation and above recieve the punishment of the sin of their fore-father when they (the 4th generation) are not yet been born or even know anything of the sins their fore-fathers committed.

Can that curse of the gods of the fore-father to this innocent ones be broken without any harm to any member of the family?

Your answer/advice can help out.

There is another verse that follows which says: It shall no longer be so. That each person will face the consequence of his or her action.

Fathers shall not be put to death because of their children, nor shall children be put to death because of their fathers.” (Deuteronomy 24:16)

Gal 3:13-14

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole. 14He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.

Exodus 20:5–6 says, “For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments
