The Car: Another Look At Religious Thinking by benzics(op):
I saw adverts about this Toyota Tacoma they were selling, they advertised it's many awesome features, so I made up my mind to go and get this wonderful car.

I reached the place, went in and saw the seller, and the following conversation ensued.

Me: hello, I am here for the Toyota Tacoma.

Seller: hey there, yes welcome, you must have heard a lot about this car.

Me: of course, and I'm interested, so can I see the car?

Seller: not so fast, but here is a document containing every history of this car...

Me: a document? OK, let me see.

*Sat down and read it all..*

Me: wow, such a great car I must say, so can I now see it?

Seller: calm down, you'll have to pay 36million naira for it before you see it

Me: how am I supposed to pay for something I've never seen? How sure am I that I'll even like it after seeing it?

Seller: but there is the document where every details about the car is written..

Me: why can't you just show me the car? How am I even to know that this said car exists?

Seller: are you trying to say the Toyota Tacoma doesn't exist? A car I drive daily? OK if this car doesn't exist? How did I get to this office?

Me: well you could have used a taxi, a bike?

Seller: what are you insinuating? That I came here with a taxi? Is that even possible? The color of the car is even red,why can't you just believe? Pay first and get the car.

*Another seller walks in*

Seller2: what's going on here?

Seller: he came for the Toyota Tacoma and he doesn't believe it exists, that he wants to see it first.

Me: of course I want to see it, is it so hard to show me proof of the car's existence?

Seller: but I've shown you the documented evidence?

Me: so I should take your word for the existence of something you drive everyday? Why can't you just show me the Damn car!

Seller2: Can you prove the car doesn't exist?

Me: but the burden of proof isn't on me, am not making any claims here..

Seller2: of course the car exists, I drive this car daily, it is blue in color...

Seller: no it's Red and I drive it daily..

Me: woah.. Different description of a car you all claim to see daily?

*another seller walks in*

Seller3: why the noise? What's going on here?

Seller2 and seller: look at this young man, he doesn't believe the Toyota Tacoma exists?

Seller3: whaaat? How can anyone rational not believe in the Toyota Tacoma? I just finished driving the car just now, it's an awesome green car..

Seller: no it's red.

Seller2: it's blue..

Me: woah, right, can I just see the car?.

Seller3: sorry, you don't get to see the car unless you've paid..

Me: if you all have different descriptions of this car, how am I supposed to believe it exists?

Seller2: just because we have different descriptions, does that mean the car doesn't exist?

Me: well then you can just show me the car..

Seller: you are to pay first..

Me: OK, have a nice day with your red, green and blue Toyota Tacoma, am leaving..

Seller: once you leave here, the offer is off the table, and you'll be beaten for eternity for not buying this wonderful awesome car..

Me: WTF?? It's now compulsory for me to buy this car?

Seller: it's not compulsory! It's a choice, you have to choose, buy it or suffer, just choose!!!

Me: OK if I pay for this car, will I get it now?

Seller2: no, not now, just have faith, the car will be shipped to you.

Me: when?

Seller3: when the time comes..

Me: to hell with you and your car, am out!!

*went out and met an evangelist *

Evangelist: there is a special mansion being built for you in Heaven, repent now and inherit your mansion.

Me: well can I see it first?

Evangelist: no, you just have to believe, here is a holy book that contains all about this heaven and God, you will see heaven when you die..

Me: WTF??

Evangelist: and if you don't believe in God or this heaven, when you die you'll burn for eternity..

Me: FUUUUUUUCCCCCKKKKK YOUUU!

Angry at "god"? Lol, is that what you think?

To your 2nd pic, the only irrationality I see there is believing, and then thinking you KNOW that one god created the universe.. .

What proof do you have that one god created the universe?

What a daft comment!
Religious people are in the majority so they must dominate most if not all spheres of endeavour. Religious people would naturally also constitute the highest number of rapists, thieves, embezzlers, and all other categories of criminals. The fact that non-religious people can take up to 11% of Nobel Laureates(that's if your figures are even correct as I know you have included people like Einstein in your statistics) is proof that non-religiousity correlates with intelligence.

Moronic comment .

Christians are 32 percent of the population while atheists , agnostics , freethinkers and the non religious have 16 percent of the world's population -that's half of it - yet Christians have 65.4 percent of the Nobel Prize laureates and the aforementioned trio have just 10.4 percent .

Physical laws can't create anything , the universe can't come from nothing ,the universe creating itself is a logical absurdity , infinite regress of causes is a logical impossibility . I can go and on and on .

Go back to school!
Your tactic is just down right deceitful, you are trying to circumvent logic to aid your views as usual.
First of all the atheist population of today cannot be compared to those at the time of the Nobel prize's inception.
Meaning: you're comparing atheist population today to account for an award that started way back in early 1900's a period of time known for it's high Christian population in the western world, where "coincidentally" most of the scientific research were carried out, since the eastern nations were still developing.

And to piss you off more just because I can.
Accounting for their population size Jews have won more Nobel prizes than christians.
Jews have won 20% of Nobel prizes although their population has never surpassed 100 million compared to Christianity's mammoth population.
grin
Your illogical tactic has failed.

Then it cannot be nothingness for something is occupying it and if it is not nothingness then who created it for God to occupy in the first place?

Lol .

Have you forgotten that the communist governments in numerous countries imposed atheism on people . USSR , China , North Korea and close to 30 other countries had communist governments that suppressed the growth of religious people . Even pogroms were carried out against the Jews . shocked And even thousands Christians and Jews were incarcerated within that period .

Why do you think atheists proliferated ? undecided Thank your communist governments far that . cry

The religious people were killed in millions yet they still had 89 percent of Nobel Prize awards since 1900s

Plus as at 1996 only 3 percent of Mensa members were atheists and over 40 percent were Christians undecided

Don't forget :
