Lets be honest Most female referees are majorly incompetent, if you watch women afcon, women world cup u will understand what am saying!!! But most of time I think that they are mostly being over look , you may ask why is that women are not allow to ref in a most serious matches in Western world? because they know! on no occasion should teams call off match except the referee say so or otherwise the atmosphere is no longer conducive

Nigeria league is boss by teams calling off matches at their own discretion anytime they are not happy with referee

this is not the first and will not be the last that referee in Europe make silly mistake they deny penalty they allow offside goal they give less time for team to recover and they give more time for other teams to score that important goal
it happens all the time but the game is always on

maybe if they start automatically removing any team that call of the match from the league then they will have sense in their end anytime their anger is getting over their skill

Bros in certain circumstances, the ref blows as soon as the ball is kicked because the game is over. The game might be over even before the free kick is taken but the ref cannot blow.

I don't have to watch the match to have an opinion, it was described well enough by the OP.

The centre referee decides. They can be helped by their assistant but in certain cases the referee might be in as good or even better position to decide and they can rightfully overrule their assistant.

U still base ur arguments on assumptions but the truth is that u didn't watch the match. I can still argue base on same assumptions that the match was ended after it was certain there was a goal. So the ref was reckless and exhibited a very unprofessional attitude.

I am not sure you read or understood my original post. I gave a scenario where the ref was right to do what she did. No one has proved that it wasn't that scenario.

You sitting in the stadium have no more knowledge of the timings that the referee uses than someone that didnt watch the match. Even the referees assistant doesn't know never mind a spectator.

I have given my opinion, prove it is wrong or give yours to counteract it. I might be wrong for many reasons but not being at the stadium is not one of them IMHO.

would it be too much to ask for a link to the highlights of this game?
