What does it matter?
As long as he is doing the right or the people are okay with his rulership.
FOR HOW LONG HAS QUEEN ELIZABETH BEEN RULING? PLEASE DON'T TELL ME ABOUT ROYALTY BULLSHÎT.

Jammeh accepted the results at first but when results and facts came in that there were malpractice, he rejected it. It's normal of a ruler to do that. HE IS NOT A COWARD.

This is abuse of sovereignty.

In as much as he must step down, sovereignty of each nation must be respected.
And which sovereignty is greater than that which the people possess? The people have spoken, Jammeh should go. That's the highest sovereignty in the land that must be respected and protected.

Death is calling him. Instead of him to step down calmly, he is looking for an officer that will send him to his grave.

I do agree. But some of the actions of these leaders export troubles into the neighbouring countries, and beyond.
Syrian wahala de worry Turkey, and the whole of Europe.
Na for Senegal plenty EDP camps go spring up if a blood bath breaks out between the opposition and the sit-tight president.

It is a sorry situation.

I ve been wondering and thinking a lot, and I ve read a lot of Post concerning President Jammeh.
Before I go on, I dont want us to be so confident on the efficacy of what the media brings to us on this pressing issue. I want my fellow Nairalanders to look at all this my Hypothesis with your wisdom
1. Jammeh has been ruling for over 20 years and none of his Cabinet member or subordinate is crying out for His removal. Am sure he has his people occupying every Government seat down to the Local Government, No wonder the Judiciary, Legislature, Electoral Bodies, even the military are silent over this issue because they are eating in the same bowl
2. Despite the cries and displeasure of Foreign bodies and Government, Jammeh remains resolute and unshakable...What does he believe in and he is so sure of that he is ready to bear the storm coming. You should know he is not even hiding like Gadaffi and co
3. Why is it the Boko haramians strike has gone down for a while at the same time Jammeh refuse to concede defeat. Or is it that the Bokonians are in Gambia right now to support a fellow brother to show the World the will of Allah
4. The Nigerian Government did not attain to quell the Fulani invasion in Southern Kaduna are now eager to show off there bomber and fighter Jet. Are they showing there concern or is there a conspiracy here..
5. If Jammeh cannot have the throne he is ready to destroy the throne.
6. Am also wondering how the new President even though he manage to get the throne will be able to 22years of Jammeh reign
7. The reason why I think Senegal is ready to move in is because Gambi is practically enclose by Senegal except the sea port access that will allow you to enter Gambia without going through Senegal
8. Jammeh should not be taken lightly, he has more backup than we think

I still keep on wondering why most of the African leaders are so selfish and greedy.. After ruling for 22 years, this yeye man still not want to leave power..

He keeps on saying Allah says.. Ecowas should just give him gbagbo's treatment

useless man
Its not about African leaders, Its about the whole african race, we are naturally greedy, selfish and destructive only God can save us, but its a pity that we are wallowing in religious hypocrisy.

Useless majority opinion.
I'll rather stand alone and firm for what I believe in than to follow a lost majority.

Nothing serious will happen tomorrow. I'll bet my balls on that.
Just probably few protests, few gun fires and very few unfortunate casualties.
Within the next few weeks, things will return to normalcy gradually. At the end, another election would be held. That's all.
Goodnight.

But world powers owe debt surely! The United States of America, the superpower and world most advance economy is a 17 trillion dollar debt ridden economy if you care to know.

World powers don't go begging for loans.

It is one thing for ECOWAS to issue an ultimatum, but for senegal an age-long rival of the gambia to use this vulnerability to carry out their own nationalistic agenda in gambia is something that should be discouraged.
I expect patriotic gambians to frown at any solo senegalese grand-standing that may tip the scale in jammeh's corner.
Jammeh must go, but senegal should leave the grand-standing and ultimatums to ECOWAS and the UN.
Nope, Gambia is almost entirely enclosed by Senegal geographically.
No other country can easily have safe passage to Gambia without negotiating with Senegal.
And Senegal will not stand aside and watch while forces from other countries cross through its borders to Gambia.

However you look at it, Senegal will lead this "operation kill Jammeh" .
