While his sincerity of purpose and pan-africanism sentiment are not in doubt, i find it hypocritical for the Gambian head of state to preach the message of keeping to a "United One Nigeria" as "a superior agenda to all ethnic, regional and religious interest as far as black Africa is concerned". I think Jammeh should FIRST walk his talk and unite the Gambia (a country of less than 2 million people) with Senegal which shares the same cultural, ethnic and religious values with the Gambia. It's only after leading by such EXAMPLE that Jammeh's message of "non-negotiable unity" will be given a hint of interest.

Oh!Ohk...So jammeh support dis our yeye fruitless one Nigeria...Jammeh must go.

Why should we give a _fuck about whatever this dead man walking has to say?

The Nigerian constitution specifically states that the president has no powers to send members of the armed forces on a limited operation abroad without approval from the national assembly EXCEPT if national security is under IMMINENT threat. Even then, the president will still get parliamentary approval within 7 days.

But Buhari has deployed Nigerian armed forces to force out Yahya Jammeh and bring in Adama Barrow. And he did this without approval from NASS.

Why??

Because the president elect, Adama Barrow is a Fula (Gambian for Fulani) while Jammeh is Julia.

So if you are wondering Nigerian interest in Gambia, stop wondering. Adama Barrow is fulani, just like Buhari. And as you all should have known by now, in Nigeria, fulani interest equals national interest.
