Former US President Barack Obama and his family will be moving into a lavish $5.3 million residence in a desirable gated neighbourhood in Washington, DC after his tenure at the White House ended on Friday, January 20th 2017. The house was built in 1928, with 8,200 square feet and nine bedrooms. According to reports, the Obamas will lease the home from Joe Lockhart, who served as Press Secretary in President Bill Clinton's White House, until their younger daughter, Sasha, finishes high school.
