The time varies, but it was about a space of 2 - 3 months in general. A third friend just got his own yesterday and submitted around 2nd week of December, 2015.

I submitted mine on the 29th of December last Year. Yet to receive final decision but have been contacted once by a CO to request for an additional document.

So you will have to relax, that was how their status was until they received their approval mail. This 476 subclass visa is almost a sure banker if u meet the criteria.

I applied to Torrens University on 28th Nov through their only agent in nig, Options Education.

I got an offer letter on the 17th of Dec after an interview with the sch. Although there were some delays b4 the admission due to some complications needed to be explained in some of my documents, if not the admission process is 1-2weeks.

I made payments, then due to xmas hols I got my CoE on 4th Jan. Front loaded my medicals and submitted visa on 11th Jan, it was granted on 18th Jan.

On normal circumstances, the whole admission and visa application is within a month if u have complete documents.

I have a 4year bachelor's degree in Business Admin. from University of Benin and my BSc was assessed as equivalent to Australian associate degree. So I'm considering including my one year PGD from Pan-Atlantic University for reassessment and my assessing body is VETASSESS. What do you think?

If you already have a positive assessment for your Bsc degree, then may i ask you what is keeping you from submitting your EOI for permanent resisdency already?

I believe you can get more points from PTE english test or by going through 190 regional sponsorship.

To your question, i sincerely do not have an expert opinion on that. So my self thought answers might not be of much help.

Yes, I am planing to apply to the same school. However I didn't ask you to share your private matters, all I'm asking for is a guide from your interview. Also whatever complications there may be, it surely will help not just me but others during documents compilation and what to expect, after all you' ve gained more from this forum as well. It is always nice to give back.

MrsCB:

I cannot share the interview questions unless u are applying to the school which the counsellor will guide u.

For the documents, u just have to find out the requirements of any school u are applying to. The complications were my personal problems which needed my explanations.

i need help pls.

i applied for an undergraduate course in Business systems at RMIT.
with all my docs sent to them. Now the school requested for THE following
A copy of the course syllabus (course outline) detailing the following: • volume of learning: contact hours per week and total number of teaching weeks
• learning objectives/outcomes (skills, knowledge and application)
• course content and weekly topics
• assessment types and their weightings
• reference to the learning resources such as prescribed textbooks and recommended readings, this made me get the full course book and sent to my nominated agent(PFL).
Please note:

Please provide more detailed course syllabus. The syllabus you have submitted were too brief.

You are also required to send an original certified copy of the above documents to your nominated agent, or to RMIT International:

Via mail to GPO Box 2476, Melbourne, Victoria, 3001, Australia
In person at Info Corner http://www.rmit.edu.au/infocorner

The course book from my school doesnt contain all they are requesting and all the course book has already been sent to them. Now is there anyother way to make them believe that not all their requirements is obtainable here.

i already sent this mail to pfl and they seem confused even.

I thank you for your email.
The submitted course outline is the only available, authentic and approved study manual in the department. The course book captures courses, basics of the courses ,methods , curriculum , preparations, objectives, project writing and others.

The book was produced by the head of Marketing department Prof Gazie Okpara with the express approval of the Dean of faculty of Business Administration and university's senate.

I quite understand that the course book might be brief as it lacks few of your requirements.
Kindly note that other instructions like
• volume of learning: contact hours per week and total number of teaching weeks
• learning objectives/outcomes (skills, knowledge and application)
• course content and weekly topics
• assessment types and their weightings
• reference to the learning resources such as prescribed textbooks and recommended readings etc are sometimes broadcasted in our notice board's or through verbal communication through course advisers and class leaders.
Our educational system is archaic but with time I think those requirements you have mentioned would be inculcated as I hope for improvement in the course book.

Ultimately, the course book submitted is the only legitimate course outline, manual and syllabus for study purpose which Students and lecturer's have relied on for many Academic years in the department of Marketing, Abia State University.

It is often referred to as the departmental bible owning to it's popularity, significance and contents.

Thanks for your ongoing support.

I guess i saw Australian degree, instead of Australian associate degree.

Though, i believe there are better ways for him to point that out to me. But i really can't fault the way he choose to express him or herself sha. Everybody get ein own way, it is how we understand each other that matters most.

In this case, i understand him/her.

Sorry my attention was just drawn to the fact that i missed the "Associate" part of the Australian associate degree and thought you meant you your degree was assessed as equivalent to an Australian degree.

I will ask a friend about the PGD thing and get back to you on it

Hello everyone,
I have been following this thread for months and it is a Gold mine.
The information I have found here is invaluable and was instrumental to getting my VISA GRANT.
Y'all are amazing, God bless you.

I'm tying to buy a ticket and I wanted to ask if one can enter Australia with a One way ticket without problems at the Point of Entry.

Pls guys can I apply to this schools without using any agents? do I have to pay application fee? And is there any other cheaper schools having the program? Also do I have a chance of permanent stay after the program duration, which is 2yrs. Thanks

nice decision ,while the schools you listed do not require application fees, you have to apply through their agents ...that's all I can take from your list of questions...
