I never in my widest dreams expected or blived that a man with so much integrity,so much patriotic/nationalistic vigor,so much social capitalism seemingly inbuilt in him,with a historical,people centred mandate that untoppled an incumbent,democratic govt in Nigeria,for d first time,cud turn out to be such an all round disappointment,displaying so much incompetence in virtually all spheres of Nigeria's life.
The shocker of Buhari's failure thus far,has left me with very little hope for any political leader again.Unless,God intervenes again and gives us a miracle.

I have met a lot of people from his state who always say the guy did some good work....ive also seen some videos and pictures and one of my former babe's that got married lives there and she also says he tried! But definitely some corruption went down but the good works will cover those tracks....


Actually, doing a good job while in power can help you make the best type of cash....

Akpabio has earned himself plenty of love by most Akwa Ibomites, nothing you can do about that. Definitely everbody must not subscribe to his ways of doing things. But it took him a lot of efforts to earn the peoples respect and love till now after leaving office.

He has earned because nobody dare question him. BTW, point out one industry he built; name all the development in Uyo (cos dat is the one place been referred to) if it corresponds to one-tenth of the total state allocation during his 8years in power. I am niether being sentimental here. If he was not able to achieve anyhting for the people, don't you think someone would have questioned him? Besides bro, in policitics if anybody is expecting 100% delivery from polictians, the person is not being truthful to himself and definitely you cannot satisfy everbody at a time. Not endorsing mediocrity here, but there are measures to determine the scale a polictician had performed in the past.

Whenever i see d likes of Akpabio,Saraki,GEJ,PEJ and d likes being enthusiastically supported by people,or all PMB's policies and actions(inactions) being defended vigorously,I come to d stark realisation that there is no hope for this country.
Individuals may succeed on their own due to dint of hardwork,being in position of authority to embezzle funds or by God's grace,but d Nigerian state is a failed one that offers no comfort,plan or shelter for its citizens to succeed due to visionary leadership.

I am an Akwa Ibomite and I live here. I am willing to work here bt there are no industries and I don't wanna be a civil servant, so I rather travel down to Lag/Ph to work. How convincing is that?
