Hello all i need your help.

All the ford transit in my possession are breaking down. The issue seem to be the fuel pump. I have used different organisation, taken it to different specialist, spent a lot of money trying to fix it but it gets broken after some weeks or months. I have 3 ford transit with the same issue.

Currently in Lagos.

Are you the one that buys the gas filter yourself?? There was a time I was having similar problem, I discovered that my mechanic use washed gas filter instead of new ones, immediately I went to the market and bought new ones myself it stopped

I think it goes beyond that. I suspect the injector pump and nozzels since it uses a high pressure pump.

that's why it I included as an awkward commercial vehicle in layman terms just like Peugeot,Fiat, Renault,Ford alfaromeo, Chevrolet,Dodge, GMC,Vauxhall,Opel,they are cheap to buy but will be a headache and nightmare to keep on the road

Which one is reliable and not cheap

Scan your cars first before repairing anything


It is even possible that everytime they take your car to the mechanic he decides to rewire something he believes is wrong from the factory therefore all your cars have the same problem


So it is important to know the last thing done to the cars up to 2 weeks before the problem started
