I'm patient with my kids- male and female.I've only observed men being inpatient with unruly boys(and girls of course).

Mega.real's reason however explains the reason for the impatience.

@bolded,aren't mothers more patient with their boys- especially because they tend to be closer to their mothers as you said.
Uncle, the issue isn't who kids are closer to_ I only used that to draw an analogy.
You asked why women are not generally patient with their daughters, then went on to use bathing as an example. Makes me wonder how many women you know. grin .Saying women are impatient while bathing their 'daughters' is *******.

End of discussion @ bolded, it has nothing to do with the gender of the child, but time-management. I hope you get my bias now.

If you look through the thread, you'll see i quoted two people who shared the same experience and one said it had to do with time management.Bathing is not the only thing,it's just the point here.
I have observed quite a no of women because my profession deals with psychology too.I don't think my observation is wrong.
It could have something to do with the genders being closer to the opposite.

Okay then.
Generally, you have a point. Mothers know when daughter is up to something, we were once young, we know the tricks. Daughters don't want to get busted. Daughter will use her leg and waka to dad, he automatically becomes her 'good cop'...same applies to males.

The problem is limiting it to bathing or should I say using bathing as the perfect example. I would very much get impatient with a child taking all my time in the bathroom (when I have a lot to do)_ irrespective of the gender. That the child is a girl doesn't make me angrier...heck, why should it?

The topic here is bathing and that is why i just used that as an example.
You made me do a google search on 'Are mothers more patient with their sons than their daughters?'and it's interesting what i found.I wasn't so wrong afterall.

Good day, I don't know if this is the right thread to post this or not. Pardon my ignorance. I was listening to a radio programme yesterday, a question was raised. Should a man bath for his own daughter who is over 3 years. I personally do not have a problem with that. I don't see anything wrong in this. A man then called in, he said can't bath he's daughter when she's older than 2 that he's human and might get tempted. Please, I'd like you to share your opinions on this issue.
Total ignorance. I grew up in a house were our unclothedness doesn't matter. I will bathe her even if she is 7 undecided. But the woman is allowed to bathe her son even if he is 7 or 8.

If a man is so promiscuous to the extent that he is tempted by the unclothedness of his own daughter of 3 years, then even a female chicken is not safe with him! Such a man is useless to humanity

Yes, and yea and yes.
Is it OK for a woman to bath a son more than 3 years?
Not all men are paedophiles. What can be the temptation in a normal person? How can any normal person be tempted by a 10 year old girl? Talk less of a 5year old?
Please, paedophiles are not normal people. They should be put down, killed so we can rid our society of such scum.
Oga you should know men are moved by what they see, women aren't wired that way only few who obviously have psychological problems. Cos it ain't normal.

Re: Is It Right For A Man To Bath His Own Daughter Who Is Over 3 Years? by adioolayi(m): 8:36pm On Jan 26, 2017
The society is up-side-down.... God! Those days, early teenagers still take their baths outside (Core rural areas).... Single fathers are responsible for the well being of their wards.
The story is different now, even when the father doesn't have bad mindset, the society will still term it to something else.
It's better the New age Dad study their environment well and practice what is regarded as norm there, to avoid unwanted tale.

op,FYI, my cousin bathe with his daughters.....he bathes them while he s unclad..

A friend of mine, whose mother left her father for another man,was taught how to use sanitary pad by her father.

Its a shame that some men get arouse on seeing nudity of a woman, even their relative

I don't see why it's a problem bathing your own lil girl. If you feel aroused i suggest men like that should check themselves into mental asylums

That man who claimed that he would be tempted by the body of his 3 year old daughter needs to be placed on crime watch because he is a potential pedophile. He is also guilty of attempted incest.

Any man who is sexually aroused by the body of a child should not be allowed to be a father of a female child let alone supervise bathing of a female child.

Custody of the child should be awarded to her mother immediately and the father should be barred from being alone in the same place with any little girl.

If you get aroused by a child please seek professional, spiritual and mental help. If you get aroused by your relative please seek both professional and spiritual help.

That man is a "budding Peodophile!
They should just watch him closely.
If you can bath your daughter at two years.... what is the difference or what happened to you that you cant bath her at three?

I think the problem lies with that father.... he is immatured, lacks-self control and is spiritually dead to be a father.

How some men's body has a lustful reaction to "children", whether theirs or not, still baffles me.
