According to AvanceMedia, the award was to honour young Nigerians change makers who are really impacting to the society in one or two ways.

In the newly released 2016 list, Our own Seun Osewa (Nairaland Founder) also made the list. Sincerely speaking, Nairaland has been a platform where we really learn a lot everyday. To Seun Osewa and the moderators in various section, accolade to you guys for the beautiful work.

Me think this award is long over due. Oluwaseun osewa has done a very fantastic job in bringing nigerians from various sections of the country.
