The Senate former president, Ken Nnamani, has attributed persistent neglect of Igbo indigenes in key political post in the country on their inability to understand Nigeria political dynamics. Nnamani made the statement on Saturday when he addressed the members of All Progressives Congress (APC) Stakeholders meeting at Imo International Convention Centre, Owerri. At the meeting hosted by Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, which was also attended by APC stalwarts from five South-Eastern states of Abia, Ebonyi, Anambra, Enugu, and Imo states. www.theguildng.com/?p=17012

Igbo isolation on Nigeria political matters started after the Biafran war The biggest issue in Nigeria is the socalled igbophobia carried out by the North and West Nigerians. If Igbos start moving close to political matters the socalled fear of Domination will cause another panic. |

The Igbo elites who have so much to lose if Nigeria breaks up are going on a shaming campaign to coerce ndigbo especially the youth to falling back in line so that their wealth is protected. It's too late now. The future belongs to the youth and most of them have seen what Nigeria truly is. The one Nigerianists Igbo elites can continue singing political "kumbaya" but it's late now. |

nazzyon:This man lack knowledge of success. When you chase what everyone is chasing you may end up with nothing, if you eventually get something the cost will be too great. But if you stand alone firmly holding unto one thing. Those disappointed in the hustle for the conspicuous will come bowing to you. You will be mocked at first - small price for success. Never follow the crowd if you can create your own crowd. |

I wonder who told these political hoes that once they jump into the putrid APC camp the first rite of passage is to attempt to denigrate and insult the Igbo tribe. How do they even reason and function? That is why it is said that if u stand for nothing, you will fall for anything. Just look at the lightweight rats now... |

sarrki:Hey shush! He is first an Igbo man before any other identity and I address him on that basis regardless of any political experience he may have gathered. He must be loyal to his homeland first to actually deserve the title of elder statesman worth listening to. |

Hope this is not true. It's him that doesn't understand. What has the north benefited by playing politics? Boko haram, poverty etc. Igbos are doing well for themselves, Nnamani is only after his pocket. The whole lot has nothing useful to offer Igbos. All Igbos rushing to APC at this hour are all traitors and cannot be trusted. They know they will fail woefully in election. The West were not part of PDP, yet Lagos developed exponentially. We do not need to join APC to develop Ala Igbo. Please let us all mark any Governor, others joining APC at this time, they are all traitors and after their pockets |

nazzyon:Chai. This Ken Nnamani as Senate president threw away the opportunity for a sixth state in the southeast after a nationwide consensus was achieved for creation of a sixth state in the centre of the southeast. A northern PDP Senate majority leader travelled all over Nigeria with his group canvassing for a sixth state in the southeast backed up by then President Obasanjo. But Nnamani at the last minute threw away the proposal, threw away the baby with the bathtub, as he also threw away alleged Third Term proposal for Obasanjo. Igbo remains short-changed politically in Nigeria due to underrepresentation owing to the five states only structure in the southeast Nnamani, please don't lecture Igbos on political process of Nigeria, because you are a set back to Igbo politics in contemporary Nigeria. |
