MarkGeraldo:Bro ur correction is legit, but u generalized it too much, deep loners may have that problem, but not all of us. Relating with people is a relative notion, there are people i just cant relate with no matter our proximity to each other because i just dont want to associate with them, while i practically know the buttons to press to get another set of people talking. On relationships we do okay, its hard for us sometimes but when we meet a person who understands us we click pretty quuckly. MarkGeraldo:Your observation is not out of place. But, what the OP stated is perfectly in order. Generally, most people in this category appear NOT to be sociable. That doesn't mean they don't know how to relate with others. They do. But, they, unconsciously, look out for people of substance, people who are genuine, people who are trustworthy, people who are reliable, people who understand them and won't take them for granted or capitalize on their shortcomings to cheat them. As such, it is difficult for SP (let's call them solitary people) to see these virtues or attributes in one person the first time they come across them. But, once they study someone and see you have most of these attributes, they can even make the first move to be your friend. And u know what?-they can be very jovial, friendly and sacrificial. Now, for example, if an SP guy sees these virtues in a lady and in addition he tends to have feelings of love for her, such a relationship can and will often stand the test of time. Why?. Because, he has UNCONSCIOUSLY sieved others out and gone for a lady who is first a FRIEND( because anyone with such attributes is indeed a friend) before being a LOVER. and what makes relationships, especially MARITAL ones stand the test of time is the bond of FRIENDSHIP not the fleeting emotions of LOVE. This is the way SPs have good relationships- they don't believe in quantity of people but they stick to qualities of people around them. 1 Like 1 Share |
