Its a SCAM by Access Bank!
What they are doing (not the first time) is to employ these young people as "interns/trainees" but use them for all manner of jobs meant for full-time employees.
They even give them a crash course for like one week and ask them to mount positions like Tellers, Cash officers, Marketers, Operations, e.t.c

......... but meanwhile, they pay them peanuts like they would pay an ordinary I.T student, at times just #35,000 monthly!

After using these guys as "cheap labour" for between two and four years, they refuse to retain them (after completion of the internship period!) and throw them out only to recruit another set of "exploited Cheap Labour".

You wonder why "internship" has suddenly risen form two years to FOUR YEARS?
What are you teaching an intelligent Graduate in a banking job (the worst when it comes to repetitive tasks!) for One Year.... not to mention 4yrs?

But l dont blame Access bank (GTBank does similar thing), l blame those criminals at the NASS because if they knew their job and why they are in that NASS, they would have promulgated Laws that criminalise such "abuse of our Youths".
Imagine, 4yrs as "trainee"? Upon small pay and no 'guarranteed" future employment?

Why are Polytechnic graduates left out of the programme?

Research very well before you say anything. Access bank Frontline internship program pays it's interns about #100k while the graduate trainee program pays #278k. They probably just want to deal with fresh graduates whose brains are still hot. I'm not sure why the age limit. But that's not enough to incite such ridiculous assertions. Funny enough some people will just believe you. #35,000 ? Seriously? May God have mercy.

hmmn... Really not sure of what to advice... Except u have other plans about NYSC, I would advise u wait... Opportunities will always keep coming.. I did same risky step for KPMG and was dropped at the 4th stage because I haven't served and such organizations don't give candidates second chance. So my brother just relax... Except u serving already or u have plans to work your NYSC into Ghost mode... Then u can as well take the risk and apply...

BTW be prepared to meet monthly marketing targets and the HBP that comes with it, remember if you don't meet your target you are sent packing. One starts somewhere but not in places like ACCESS where they turn you to a modernized marketer and slave, worst thing you can't even get out till after two years. Would rather take a job of 140k with peace of mind than 267k where I will be thinking about who next I have to scam to meet a target. Once again. All the best in your adventure with access bank.

honestly, you've got the talent of being a comedian, I don laff tire for here. Don't you know a beggar has no choice. Beggars take the risk by accepting anything from anyone. I've worked in an Organization where the boss indirectly called me a slave and nearly take out the life in me. When it's time to cross the Bridge we shall, If person no meet target, they won't take life but the Job.
