Buhari's Health; Can The FOI Act Be Invoke To Demand For Buhari's Health Status? by Nobody: 9:24pm On Jan 31, 2017
Buhari's ill health is not a private matter because it is government money that he has been spending on his frequent trip abroad to undergo treatment in one form of surgery or another.Cant the learned lawyers, aka SAN invoke the FOI act to demand the release of buhari's health status as it is done in other democratic countries?Nigeria is in recession and this man is spending millions of pounds on medicals abroad when there is provision of budget for him in government hospitals back home.

Since the money is not from his pocket they can afford to spend it anyhow, monies that can change the story of an average Nigerian graduate

Soon the pro-Buhari will come for your head,I don't know why there are hiding his health status from us...something is fishy

Topics like this should be on frontpage already for wider views and opinions so others can be educated on how far the FOI act can be used, but hell no! Since it's not anti MMM thread, the Mod won't let it fly undecided

It is against the law in advanced countries for your employer to broadcast your health condition because it can be used to discriminate against you at work or whilst searching for work. So you the OP can go to court and say I want to know my Presidents health condition and he is free to hide whole portions of it. I think it works the same way. The President 's health unfortunately is not public information and you don't have a right to it. Anecdotally, the greatest Presidents in the US; FDR and Kennedy were not healthy. One was crippled by polio the other had back trouble, some venereal diseases and was in pain 80% of the time.
