.....From the bottom of my heart,i can assure you that you are the fool here...I just dont get why you guys cant use your common sense...Seasoned individuals working in the Corporate industry as well as investors have given reasons why Nigeria is this messed up after Goodluck Jonathan.

....The reasons are simply what you are being schooled here and you are still talking nonsense..Even if its buhari till 3050,its all good..Atleast Nigeria will certainly be in shreds economically and politically by the ge leaves or dies...making it easy for sessesionists to leave you guys with the carcass and form their own country..

.....Mentally slow folks everywhere.

My simple point here is that your clueless drunkard hero put us in all this mess with his team of looters and criminals.
Buhari can not fix Nigeria over night.
It's a process and you should thank God that we have Buhari at a time like this,i hope you see what is happening in Venezuela?
If It was during Buhari era that we were selling crude oil as high as $140 and we could produce more than 2million barrel per day,Buhari would have turn Nigeria to another London.

I don't see what Buhari has done with his strong hand huh

Unfortunately they don't know. Nigerians are addicted to instant results. Hence the success of MMM. What an MMM country!

Change takes TIME, and a difference jn the way we think. Short term measures will never be sustainable.

you are a very stewpid idiet. GEJ selected ministers for the dullard after 6 months. GEJ introduced dull brains like Ngige, Adeosun, Udoma, Fashola, Dallung, to the dullard. GEJ increase fuel price thereby, skyrocketing the prices of other foodstuff. GEJ, implimented the TSA and other bottleneck policies that jas shot-up the exchange rate. Hit the ground running?
It was easy for OBJ of PDP to hand over to YARADUA of PDP and it was also easy for GEJ of PDP to continue from where YARADUA of PDP stopped because it was one party and all they needed to do was just a minor cabinet reshuffle.
All looted funds were hiden and nobody was ready to probed those that were there before because it was all pady-pady government.

But this is the first time we are having a transition from one party to another and many people expected the president to hit the ground running so that he can enter those traps that PDP left behind abi?
Only fools expected the transition from PDP to APC to be smooth knowing fully well that PDP didn't expect to lose 2015 elections and didn't prepare proper Hand over notes.
Nobody should compare us to America because we are not mate when it comes to democracy because they have a system that works and nobody can just take millions of dollars from America government purse and share it like father Christmas like it is obtain here.
Okay.

Do you want to be compared to Gambia that has installed all its ministers the week of Barrow resuming?

Or with Ghana that did theirs within two weeks?

Or you have an excuse for those again?

And no, I saw but ignored your reference to "looting". With Buhari effectively telling the Senate that Babachir, who's looted over N253m under his eyes, that he is innocent, what other evidence do you need to see that the "looting this and that/ 'war' against corruption", is just a farce?

Some time i do laugh when some people start comparing Nigeria with some well established democratic systems around the world.

Hit the ground running like Trump so that he can fall into the big traps left behind by PDP.
If Buhari didn't take that time to study what was on ground and took stock of things he met on ground before he appointed those ministers and DGS,probably most people wouldn't have believe that things were that bad and would probably accuse Buhari ministers of the things they knew nothing about.

When you are put incharge of something,it is proper you know and take record of what was handed over to you before you can put people that will help you to run it.

And the fact that most of you guys don't just understand is that the last transition was a transition from one party to another party and not like we used to have before (PDP president to PDP president) that all the incoming president needed to do was minor cabinet reshuffle.

Nobody should have expected such a transition from PDP to APC to be smooth because we all knew that PDP didn't prepared hand over notes because they didn't expect to lose the 2015 election.

Stop deceiving yourself too because even Ngozi warned us before the 2015 elections that we should prepare for harder times because of the rate the price of crude was going down.
There are pictures online of Gej giving Buhari his hand over notes. If the handover notes was an empty box, Buhari a man that loves propaganda would've shown the whole world that Gej gave him an empty box as hand over note. Lest we forget, Buhari started with over $30 bn in our coffer. Obama I'd he started with less than $4 bn, a sub to you know who.

Lets not use Trump as an example here.

Argentina defaulted on debts. In fact Hedge funds managers got a court order in USA to seize an Argentine Ship that was in American waters because Argentina had defaulted on debts payment. Thank God we've not gotten to that level.

Macri became president of Argentina. Even before he was sworn in he appointed an ex JPMORGAN staff to head his economic team. Macri floated the currency. Billions of dollars started pouring in. With the help of his economic minister, Macri gained the trust of international business community who are constantly looking for where to invest. Today every economist in the world are praising the Argentine economic recovery. It's a success story.

Nigeria is not the first country to be in recession. There are text books on how a country can get out of recession. I thought that if someone fails in a task, he gains experience and when he sees that same task again, you know what to do from experience to get the task done successfully. Buhari was in this same position 1984, politicians under Shagari had messed up our economy ( as we were told by Buhari because history told us that Buhari left the country worse than he met it). Fast forward 2015, almost the same scenario and in under 2 yrs Buhari turned a $500 bn economy to $200bn economy. He drove us into recession and as he did in 1984 he's blaming his predecessors.

Okonjo Iweala warned us to save but we didn't. That doesn't mean that she, Aganga, Adeshina and other members of the economic team will allow our currency to be as worthless as it is now. It's not possible

If Ngozi and co were around now that our major budget backbone which is crude oil is this mess, there would have been nothing any of then would have done different.
They were just lucky to have served when we had crude oil boom and we could from the sale of crude oil pay subsidy on some commodities and also cushion the dollars and that was why most Nigerians didn't feel it then.

Now,there is no money to pay subsidy on fuel, food imports etc or to cushion the dollar and that is why we are here.
Should Buhari sale his family?

Do the maths,PDP left $30 billion according to you and we were in debt of almost $280 billion can we then say that PDP left money behind knowing fully well that what they left behind was not even enough to pay workers or contractors that they owed for many months?

This was a country that we had budget bench mark of $65 per barrel and God helped us and we were selling crude oil above $140 and we couldn't save anything.
Workers were not paid.
Contractors were not paid etc.

How can we now say that PDP left money behind?

Oil price was not that high during OBJ but we had almost all our debt written off by Paris club and co and we could use the little we were making then to do this.

Not till our economy is diversify and we have other sources of income, things will be tough and no magic anybody can do about that.
Nigeria need to pay workers, pay contractors, carry out infrastructure development etc.

The average Nigerian mind is simple. The memory is not too great either. It's easy to alter their memory by starvation and by feeding them. Depends on what you want to achieve.

So it's no surprise that Nigerians are the easiest of people all over the world to enslave and deceive.

Just starve them and feed them crumbs and they'll happily dance naked for you and they won't remember any of it by tomorrow. The same strategy Fayose, governor of Ekiti is using.

Anybody who supports Jonathan falls within this category.

Gambia is just like Benin city my state capital and it was easy to choose from a population of a 1 million plus than when you have 180 million people with different interest and group.

Ghana has gone far when it comes to democracy compare to Nigeria because for years now,Ghanians have been carrying out transitions from one party to another without issues.

This is the first time it happened in Nigeria and after this,i trust my president to put reforms in place that will make transition from one party to another to be smooth.

PDP went to sleep because they boasted that they will be in power for 60 years and they never planned for hand over to another party and that was why all their hand over notes were incomplete.

GEJ and his gang of criminals put us in all this mess with their looting and lack of no planning.

A wise man will gather water during raining season and use it during dry season.

When there was oil boom due to instability in some oil producing countries (Iraq,Iran,Syria,Yemen,Libya, etc) and the price of crude was up,what did GEJ and his gang of looters did?

They didn't build any refinery, they didn't build any major road, they didn't build second Niger bridge, they were owing workers several months salary, they didn't build power plants, they didn't diversify the economy, they couldn't stop bokoharam but they looted everything on sight and some fools want Buhari to do all this with 2 years and with such low price of crude oil.
That is not possible.

Nigeria has been pregnant all this years and she just gave birth.
The result of many years of bad governance is what we are seeing now and it has nothing to do with Buhari,it would have been worse if PDP were allowed to continue with their looting.
