Aguero has looked very average this season vs what he used to be. He has lost a lot of his sharpness

Atimes taking too many touches when he should shoot and just being unsure of himself and sometimes too static, not willing to run press waiting for passes

Especially in games like Spurs and Chelsea

Aguero can be very static his style of striking is getting outdated. A man who stays forward waits for service but has a high conversion rate. Staying up there and waiting for service nowadays wont cut it anymore

A good Aguero is great to have, an off form Aguero is a liability and has no positives at all. Ask Argentina

Which brings us back to the topic, Style/Strategy of Play. Strong player easily in another style. 25-goals-a-season striker, easily, has a weakness in another strategy. People come with a blanket concept when it comes to style "how can he be struggling with a 25-goal-a-season striker?" He should adapt and play to the striker's ability. Well on the back of tonight's display, he doesn't.

The only reason Chelsea did not have to pay through their noses to get Him is because He is not that "Marketable". That explains why He was Sold for a third of Pogba's transfer fee.

Yes, true. The problem you have is that you don't accept that, that is only one way of doing it. There are other ways. For instance, like making another proven striker out of another system. This is akin to what JM did when he ditched Mata - a high scoring, high assist-making machine, for the low-scoring, low assist-making Oscar.

Why should he be when he is better than Barry, Wanyama, Fernandinho and co.

No doubt, he is not spectacular, nonetheless, he isn't useless.

A very good observation but majority will like to blame Alonso.

Liverpool's goal was also through that weak point.

For the fact they are vulnerable in that aspect, doesn't mean they're craps and should be blame but cushioning the effect of their weakness should rather be the bone of contention.

The same applies to Alonso.

This is all based on style of play. Idrissa Gueye is the same. He wasn't in EPL 14/15 but he's top 10 on the list.
