I think the comment was directed at the Nigerian army and it was in no way political, so please can you EPP me and explain how your thinking went in that direction

If you had used your brain, you would have realised that we are interacting in the politics section of this forum; and yes, his comment was indeed political - so what is your point?
Secondly, how does that affect you; were you the one quoted?

How was I off point, when the issue was about a general visiting and sharing a meal with his troops at war front and someone expressing doubt about the sustainability of such act against my comparison to what the previous generals of the same army used to do?

Pls try and explain that to me and how the statement to which I was responding to wasn't also political - considering that the general subject of discussion was as a matter of fact politics?
