I have a year old Rot, when ever the kitchen door is open , he comes in goes straight to the living room ,picks anything he can find and runs out, anything like a shoe, cup just about anything he sets his eyes on,any idea how I can stop him. On the other hand if his mum comes into d living room she goes straight and climbs a sofa and sit down,

Yes.. Still u can train him I guess.. Juz do the basic..training a dog is like training a baby too.. U can check on YouTube or u can search on google..

Kill it. Or beta still feed her well. Even a hungry man will steal talk more of dog

Its actually a busted myth that you can't teach an oold dog new tricks.
Go for basic obedience training 'stop, sit, come, down, etc'.
Also, walking dogs might be a way as the dog is probably trying to amuse itself

He's only asking to be engaged, by you. All he does is only to get your attention.

Rotts are that playful... My 7month old rott does that a lot too, if he picks your cloth from the cloth line, she digs up a big hole and buries it perfectly... I tell u, if u see that spot u will never believe something is lying deep under that soil... I normally dont get mad cause its mostly not my cloth
