LivingHuman:While the UK government is working on helping nigerians recover their looted funds, some shameless nigerians are busy celebrating the return of their con master. I'm wondering the kind of message this will pass across to the world, UK government in particular. |

roeb1987:There is nothing like North, East, south and west, these are words used to divide the south. There is simply just north and south |

UnitedSouthZone:Your post would only have made sense if you're canvassing for a united Nigeria and not just sectional balkanization. So ganging up against the North is a patriotic advice!? I wonder how people think! |

SouthernUnite:agreed. which is why we had a soveriegn national conference under GEJ, which recommended these changes but a group of people came with a mantra of change and the SW which believes these things joined forces with the North with a different belief and they were more comfortable joining with the north than with the south which has similar ideology. if you think 2015 was a mistake i can assure you that the SW will do it again if given similar options. even worse, if u have a SE candidate against a Northern candidate and the SE candidate has these southern ideologies u listed, believe me the SW and. . . wait for it. . . . the SS will join forces with the North against the SE who has their own ideologies. The hatred is real. it goes beyond logic. |

henrydadon:I lost hope in Nigeria and Nigerians long time ago when Bode George completed his prison term and was released. I happened to be around Kirikiri area that day. I saw a trailer loaded with musical instruments and crowd of people that were there to welcome him and celebrate his release. I also watched the 'thanksgiving service' on tv and was shocked by array of political leaders that attended the service. So, I am not one bit shocked that Nigerians are now welcoming and celebrating Ibori. Very soon, he (Ibori) will be controlling the politics of Delta state and will continue his stealing by proxy just like Bode George is doing in Lagos. It is just a shame of the highest order. I do not foresee any change in our political terrains and our situation in Nigeria with the kind of morally corrupt 'Followership' we have. A wise saying in political science said 'in a democratic dispensation, the Followership deserves the Leadership they get' The unfortunate part of the story is that we the Followership do not recognize that we are the architect of our 'sufferations'. We keep on blaming the Leadership. In the recent years I can not remember any government we have not blamed. If Obama is brought to rule Nigeria, we will celebrate in the beginning, but after 3 months we will be back to status quo because he will not be able to perform miracles we will be expecting. Remember how we all celebrated Buhari when he was elected. When the reality dawned on us that he will not lie to us and he can not perform miracles, our music suddenly changed. I am sure the same will repeated itself when Buhari completes his tenure. The revolution we need is simple, let us be a 'responsible citizen' of Nigeria. I can bet you majority of us are not responsible citizens of Nigeria and we are the ones failing ourselves. That is the change (revolution) we need. |

ulster:DeRay98: A good piece but the Igbos are hard to relate with, if you disagree with them they hate you. They don't know compromise can be winning strategy only win by force. They are very intelligent in most areas of human existence but lack the wisdom to sometimes adopt a different strategy. Until a few wise leaders emerge from among them with a different way of thinking they will always be full Of hate. Yorubas are flexible and know when to stoop low to conquer. As predictable as it seems, many Igbos who reads my post will insult me with vehemence. 84. plaetton:We hates ourselves like dogs hates their stools. The early southerners wake up from their slumbering the better for them. How many northerners have speaking/spoken of Buhari's corruption mindset. If its were southerners as president in Buhari's condition/imcompetents, we wouldn't have drinks water keep cup. Just take a look at how some fools calling for 2baba's head for calling females and males youths to rise up for our leadership rights. Ibori had looted, yes. Also impacted so many people and the state positively. But these northerners are looting to bring hardship to all, and the fools using names of political parties to fooled theirselves. #Standwith2baba

Alphacrissy:bros, your own reply to him would have made more sence if the people you are defending ,(the north,,) are playing by the same rules your own people are using that is if you are from his side which I doubt very much, do you really believe that the north consider the south as their brothers, you just confirmed what the op wrote |

henrydadon:He served out his jail terms and was deported in accordance with british law. First a criminal that served out his jail term has to be released by law before he can be deported. If is enshrined in the constitution that such a person deserves deportation. |
