imhotep:So you mean they can't do many things at once? Isn't that why you have several depts (ministries) in govt? While one is working on one thing the other can be working on something completely different. This is the UK not Nigeria. Big difference. |

preselect: *Tell us why GEJ as President, did not IMPLEMENT the recommendations of the National Conference, through-out his 5years as President? *How can the S/West be comfortable with people who think GEJ is better than slice bread? That Clueless egit who ran Nigeria aground even when Crude was selling at a record high? Are we not paying the price TODAY, for GEJ's profligacy, now that Crude Price has crashed? *The S/West does not "take important decisions" based on bigotry, religion or any of those "crass sentiments" you IPAD Yoots are yarping about, we look and address issues "OBJECTIVELY"..... and follow our BRAIN! ..... and YES, come 2019, we will vote Sai BaabaAGAIN.. (if his health permits a second term) because we believe he is laying a medium/long term strategy to win Nigeria off its dependency on Crude Oil, restructuring the economy, encouraging and financing Agriculture for food sustenance.....despite all the economic sabotage of you whining Easterners! It is not Hatred.......its is called LOGICAL REASONING, which you peeps from that side of the Niger River, seem to be genetically devoid-of! ![]() Lastpage! |

It is unfortunate that this guy is been celebrated in his oghara home town as we speak. This is somebody who ought to bury his head in shame......... Nigerian when are we going to start thinking outside the box? He is one of the people that killed our economy as a whole and delta economy in particular.. He doesn't deserve to be celebrated |

I hope UK also returned all they stole from the Niger Delta area. Biggest world criminals claiming saints; a people that looted more than half of the world resources to build their land. Pot calling Kettle black! |

jerryunit48:He was naturalised as a British citizen thus it could be revoked from him in a situation like this. Since he's deported then his British citizenship is at risk. |

henrydadon:You are entitled to vote for anybody of your choice. I voted for Buhari because I believed and still believe he was the better of the two main contestants. I will still vote for him if I am given the same options. The only thing that will change that is if I see a better candidate (somebody in the mold of Peter Obi). But the truth is, it will be very difficult for somebody in that mold to get there because of corruption of you and I - we always select the highest bidder, someone who can dash out the biggest amount from the ward levels to the presidential primaries. But comment was not addressing the person we voted for. It was addressing what will change our situation in Nigeria. If we do not become responsible citizens, even if we have 10 Obamas or 10 Obis ruling us, our situation will simply not change. We hurt ourselves more that our leaders hurt us. We will cheat and break laws at the slightest opportunity, why are we expecting anything different from our Leaders with all the opportunity at their disposal? |

mary001:I do not believe in forced breakup of Nigeria. The truth is when we stop fighting the north, the fight will shift to between the major tribes (Igbo vs Yoruba, Yoruba vs Ijaw, Igbo vs Ijaw etc). After then, it will be minor languages (Kalabari vs Ikwuere, Efik vs Ibibio, Urobo vs Isoko Egba vs Ijebu, Awori vs Yewa etc). How far will go with the breakup? I think there is huge strength and advantages in our diversity. We just need to manage and harness these advantages and build on the strength doing things that build trust in each other. If we decide to breakup for whatever reasons, it has to be peaceful because we have so interwoven. I know many people that have married across the divides. I know Youbas who are married to Igbos and vice versa, there Igbos who are married to Hausas and vice versa and there are also Hausas who are married to Yourbas and so on and so on. How do we manage that if the breakup is not peaceful. |

[quote author=UnitedSouthZone post=53419103]This is because the voter turnout in the south was very low coupled with the fact people from Niger and Chad were smuggled in to vote massively in the Core north (NW and NE). This is why it appears that way.[/quote You are free to bring in voters from Equatorial Guinea and the South pole.... |

HAH:Students of politics call this REALPOLITIK. To my mind, what is required is a big hug acrossd the land to the extent that all the bile spewed is diluted by political alliances that could make parties win elections at all levels . Let's face facts, things were taking shape in previous dispensationd till we walked into this whirlpool we have today. We should statrt again by first of all accepting that the election is over for now, face nation building and move on. We should realise that no section of the polity can install a president on its own votes . In the same vein, why the clamour for a president when the prudent thing is to have good government at local and state government level and a credible legislature to check the executive at all levels. |

Ibnjurayj:absolutely! Infact it is not just at risk it must have been revoked already before deportation hence the deportation, they also has the right to revoke his citizenship Regardless as it states clearly on the British passport that the passport is her majestys property which can be taken away from a holder at any time. As they the british reserves the right to especially when the holder was not given birth in the united kingdom. |

DeRay98:Please do tell the house how the Igbos are hard to relate with. Is it through the ballot box or national politics? What has the Igbo man does that you don't find fault? 2015, the Igbos voted for the candidate of their choice, you guys called them names..... right now, event is vindicating their action. I hope you know that in a democratic settings, robotic thinking is non-existence. So how do you mean the Igbos are hard to relate judging by the fact that they are most spread ethnic group in Nigera? |
