Uchan4u:
Good evening sir, I have produced my first batch of after shave ointment and perfume. They both came out fine.
Thanks boss for sharing ur knowledge with us

While producing the after shave, I discovered that the aloe vera gel didn't dissolve but rather formed fibre-like substance which I had to filter out, pls how do I go about it next time?

Secondly can methanol be used instead of ethanol?
In the production of air freshener, what is the name of the catalyst that you recommend?
Thanks boss

Heyllo Sir, I'm very impressed with your effort so far.

Please, kindly check your mail. I think I treated something exactly like this last night... I guess that should be from you, if not, let me know.

Thanks.

Heyllo ma'am, in your next production kindly increase your nitrosol. That's your thickening agent(thickener).

Thanks.

If I have any unfinished business with you like sending of ebooks to those that made payment today, kindly be patient a little. Will do as promised shortly.

I'm on mobile phone right now, not close to my system hence the delay.

Once I get in, I shall attend to everyone accordingly.

Meanwhile, I have already acknowledged receipt of payment in response to the sent details.

Thanks.

Bar soap is quite expensive to make right now...
Pko at 700# here in PH..

But you can still get like 5-10 bucks on each

For example 150gr Soap costs like 73 bucks to make

Its sold for 80-90 bucks by WAW product so you should be good.

Remember buy and produce larger quantities to increase profits

Thank you... I bought Pko 500 bucks per ltr

Wow!
They are killing us here O.. PH na wa!

You should be in profit easily then..

But here is another tip..
How much is red palm oil in your area?
It might be cheaper!
Add it to your soap oils to reduce cost..
50% is a nice start..

(mind you, it turns the soap orange..
So test with a small batch till you get the Colour you like.
Otherwise, bleach the red oil first)
grin

Heyllo Sir, I guess you mean the bleached one that's dark in color, right?

Well, difference is in method of refining.

Like I've said before, any oil except of course, the petroleum product can be used in the production of soap. However, you'll have to understand how it works.

As for our webbinar, it should come up soon but that should be when my corp members are out of camp.

Lest I forget, I will be having a watsap live training too on the production of body cream due to much requests from those that missed the last one. Details will come up shortly......will be creating lots of thread to gather more interests.

Thanks.

Yes.. The space is for batch 7, it's still in the mold since 31st January! Lol

The orange ones are bath soaps

Thank you Strongbest

P.S: am still planning for liquid soap,
I want to manufacture and sell that full time.

Welldone Sire. I'm impressed.

How hard is your tablet soap? They don't look very hard to me.

And why do you still have soap in the mould for so long?

They should be out and harden by now sir, if all things being equal.

Don't ever be afraid of loosing your bar soap or getting it wrong, there's always a way to correct every mistake immediately it's noticed. I guess you need it......

In all, you doing great Sire. Keep it up pleas.

Thanks.

Well the first one (that big white one at the top right) was hard as rock!
The second (next big one) was too soft till date.. Since 11th January

But the latest batches have been better.. I added more water..

And well .. I added too much water (3.5 :1 water to lye ratio!) in that batch 7
Thats why it's still in the mold drying..

Now see the batch 8 (the last orange one on right in the bottom row)
Came out of mold in exactly 19hrs.. Very smoothly!
(used 2.5 :1 water to lye ratio)

That's my final formula.. It's not hard. You can pinch off an edge with your finger nails.

I have bathed with batch 4, 5 and 6 all good.

Now am working on scent.

Thank you

First, you need to register your business name then proceed to any NAFDAC Office near you. I discussed the procedures involved here in one of the pages of this thread.

Please oga strongbest this issue have been bothering me for long now, I followed the procedure in the eBook and I even talked to u about it and u asked me to add glycerine to it of which I did and still it doesn't soften hair. Since then I have been going to the market to buy conditioner that I resell to customers with the shampoo I produce because most of the customers prefer me coming with my shampoo and conditioner. Am at lost with the conditioner I buy in the market to resell but I have to do it to satisfy my customers.

Ma'am, if you need any help on any of my formula you should know the right thing to do.

If I've asked you to do so and it's not giving you what you want, I wonder what stopped you from getting back to me.

Well, if you need help you know the right thing to do. Have a great time.
