Football legend Samuel Eto’o celebrated with his countrymen after Cameroon beat Egypt 2-1 in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations final on Sunday night. The Indomitable Lions came back from behind to defeat The Pharaohs on Sunday, with Vincent Aboubakar scoring the winner in the 88th minute.

Former Cameroon captain Eto'o attended the final in Gabon to show support for his nation, and was seen in the stands with Chelsea legend Marcel Desailly.

The current crop of players that make up the super eagles will defeat this young side of cameroon anytime; any day. The egyptians tired out eventually and that was the weakness the lions capitalised on. When they meet a robust super eagles team in the qualifiers they will be on the real test to live up to their title as african champions. After all the recent friendly encounter between Nigeria and cameroon ended in a two nil victory in favour of the super eagles.
