We all see how the "I stand with nigeria" protest went peacefully without no life being lost, no tyre was burnt, no road was barricaded, nobody was forcefully intimidated or humilated to join the protest, no police vehice was burnt, no mosque was burnt; everyone that participated went on with their protest peacefully. I think IPOB should emulate the "I stand with nigeria approach" and stop putting the lives of their protesters in danger or intentionally attacking the security men so that there would be an urprising and they can now use the medium to sell their propaganda. But the truth is lives are being lost and that should make a lot of meaning to them than their propaganda. God Bless Nigeria
We've all seen video evidence of the Nigerian Army/police force shooting at unarmed protesters while they were worshipping God in a schoolyard so your thread is unnecessary. You can't compare the two sets of protests imo; one has the aim of completely uprooting the country whilst the other was just some people complaining about a decision they themselves made 2 years ago. Ask yourself which one the Nigerian government would take more seriously.

And how do you justify the Police and Army shooting unarmed people?
He has turned a blind eye to the question, dapuncline answer this question.

Dedetwo:
You are a typical dishonest Nigerian. I bet my last cent that if this protest remotely had any inclination of support for Biafra, the Nigerian security outfits would have been firing their weapons nonstop. Nigerians will jump hoop on a mere mention of Biafra. Try to be sincere for once.
Exactly. What was the actual point of these "I stand with Nigeria" protests? To complain about Buhari? huh He's not contesting again so I doubt he'll care that much- they're stuck with him for the time being.

If there is no confrontation with nigerian soldiers they won't think of shooting! Confrontation and taunts led to shooting. Was anyone shot today ?

Bros I'am being sincere! Kindly read my piece again without being sentimental. I could recall the press report of anambra state governor after the last biafra protest: it affirm to the fact that IPOBS always constitute nuisance and taunt the armed officials in the name of protest or why did wike banned IPOB protest in PH ?
Let us see d Onitsha mosques dqt were burnt
Show me d video of ipob members taunting officers
Show me d picture if d 2 burnt truck with evidence DATdey were burnt by ipob

Now tell me who confronted who here, tell me the problem caused by this people in an open football field praying that warrant the shooting and killing. This video alone has debunked your claims of Ipob confronting Nigeria militia, after watching this video please provide me the videos of Ipob confronting the Nigeria militias and the video of Ipob burning onitsha mosque and dangote trucks.

Zendy, don't let thst silly bigot wrestle your consent for his twisted story.

There's no evidence that those two scenarios he cited ever took place during IPOB rallies. At least not to the best of my knowledge.

The burning of truck was in response to the crushing of road users in the east by the those trucks. And the mosque demolision was in retaliation to the mindless slaughter of Igbos in the east.

While those two retaliatory actions may not be the best, neither of those events was initiated during IPOB protests since 2015, that I know of.

zendy:
...

The Mosque and Dangote Trucks only got destroyed after the Navy, Army and Police opened fire on unarmed IPOB in Onitsha, killing peaceful protesters. That act is what drove people crazy.

When u make a claim, u give reasonable evidence
Show me evidence
Ipob youths destroy pples property..no single evidence or even witnesses have ever verified dat claim... Show us d shops DAT were destroyed by d ruthless protesters
I keep hearing IPOB protesters attack security men
I
But I have never heard of a single soldier killed or at least wounded by ipob protesters... Are d soldiers immortal?
U say dey are armed protesters, all d pis I have seen, I have never seen any of dem holding sticks or matchet or rifles, is it their flags DAT dey use to attack and 'taunt' dis policemen?
Give me REASONABLE evidence, tell us wat made y so sure DAT dis ipob youths are miscreants.. Show us d clips and images dat u saw DAT made u so sure abt dis..dqt is all am saying

This all happened after the Nigerian army/police force shot at unarmed protesters who were worshipping God in a schoolyard. There are videos which prove this, Amnesty International have proved this and soon enough, the United Nations will too. Despite all that happened, the most violent act that you can associate with IPOB is a mosque being burned down and a truck being upturned. Is a truck or a building now equal to the hundreds of human lives lost at the hands of the army/police? huh

your protest flopped, stop trying to justify your cowardice. You marvel at the success of IPOB protest and envy their uncommon sense of patriotism which is lacking in Nigeria. Spot the difference in pics

So that's it huh

The whole mosque plus entire 8 trucks loaded with cement were burnt down in one day, and it was not on any of the national media, and police did not take it up? No official statement from dangote? No official statement from the Islamic council? Your only proof is a silly self-contradictory nairaland thread and a dumb rogue blog huh huh

Please try again.
