My note 4 working in excellent condition until ..today.. I received automatic notification on new software update ( Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow). I accept and installed. After few minutes, the home screen is not appear and  remain black screen. I push the power button but nothing happen except the blue light notification blinking and there were sound when the volume button pressed. That mean the phone is working but the phone screen still black. I removed the battery and pressed the power button more than 1 minute.Reinstall back the battery and push the power button. It’s work. The home screen appear as usual and phone working normally. However, The screen will be black again when I push the power button. Again , I repeat the same trouble shooting again and again but the result still the same. Screen will go off when I push the power button or when the phone automatically on sleep or standby mode ( inactive). Then I backup all my data and do the factory reset. Unfortunately, did not solve the problem.
I think this is because Marshmallow. Please advise

same thing happened to me when I upgraded my infinix to marshmallow.. had to downgrade it back

Did you root your phone before well you can downgrade your phone nothing like 50 50

thing is, most of these upgrades, they come with a lot of bugs. I gave it to a software specialist so as ti avoid any more complications. but if u wanna do it urself, u can google how to downgrade.. there are some tools u will need to download to use..

Sell it to me...or we can swap i have samsung s5

you will need to download grade ur phone o, I can tell you what to do, go and download phone info from playstore first, I hope you have a laptop?

enter firmware browser, it will look for the right stock rom for ur phone, click on the downgraded version of ur phone, it will take you to sammobile, download the rom from there.
Note!! You need a very good Internet connection so the download won't disconnect. When you have don that quote me

Stop display after upgrade? The real Samsung Note 4?

Try this - Remove the battery and insert, Hold volume down + Home Button + Power Button and see if it brings up the Download mode.

If you do this and it still doesn't display anything, your screen is GONE!!! Cos software bug would never affect the Download mode.

If it displays the download mode. Fine! Head to SamMobile to download a lower version of Android version for your device and flash via Odin.
