If the journalist who wrote this wasnt trying to be mischievious, he would have said "Fg blames extortion by the police, army, for...." Besides, how is Audu Ogbe FG? He isnt the spokesman for the FG so his opinion, even thlough valid and reasonable, cannot be said to be that of the FG. When the FG wants to speak, they do so though the SGF, or the spokesman of the president.

I think the problem is that there is no agenda.

Secondly, he does not have a change team. Loyalists dont necessarily bring change.

Thirdly, there seems to be no workable solutions proposed.

Why would the Govt. of the day always on the blame game, upto the extent of blaming the police and customs for extortions. However, i don't believe that the high cost of food stuffs is caused by extortion by the mentioned arms of Govt. because this extortion has been there Long before this Govt. came in. This Govt. are the cause of the high cost of foodstuffs. And they should stop apportioning blames rather they should take responsibility and apply corrective measures.

Audu Ogbeh should go further in his ministry to set up a task force to monitor this menace at road check points. Getting truck drivers to call in to the task force where ever there is an obstruction in travel while conveying agric produce. Give contact details to truck drivers and have them call-in if they are stopped unnecessarily on the roads. Go on the media and make continuous public announcements to inform the public of this contact numbers

How com d prices of other items being conveyed hasn't skyrocketed as well considering all other goods are also conveyed via the roads where these same ppl operate? Na today police and other checkpoints don dey collect roger from road users? abi dey jus suddenly decided to concentrate on farmers? Sometimes I don't know between the excuses these ppl give and d morons who swallow dem and concur which is stupid...

Audu is the Minister of Agriculture, thus he represents the FG in that capacity.

Who makes up the FG? Audu is part of the Executive arm of the FG.
