Yea, that mind game was the reason why Keshi won AFCON!

....and beating Cameroon and South Africa is a huge achievement? Hopeless losers!
Why are you so bitter? Get some happiness in your life. People you call hopeless and losers can feed you for the rest of your life, pray you even get to that level.

Mathematically, the chances of us qualifying ahead of Cameroun is very good. We are on the driver seat right now. And for Cameroun to overtake us, they'd have to get a result against us in Uyo (at least a draw) and then beat us a few days later in Cameroun, and then beat Algeria at home and beat Zambia away.

I definitely like our chances. If we can beat Cameroun in Uyo, would hit close to 75% chances of qualifying. And if we beat them in Uyo and get a draw against them in Cameroun then our chances of qualifying would be at around 90%. So all things considered, I like our chances.

O pari

The main reason why we are going to beat Cameroon is to proof to the world that we are stil the best in africa.

Talk is cheap Mr. Roar.

Instead of roaring, can you do us a favour by qualifying for AFCON and world cup first.

Nigeria didn't go to AFCON this year, and the world didn't come to an end.
when you see a man watch a champion over and over

and comes up with a verdict that he will beat the champ omo don't underrate him he must have a fact going for him

I'm not sure i like this arrangement... Do we really want a nations cup where two of the champions of the past three editions could potentially fail to qualify simply because they are in the same group??

The Champion he watched over and over were playing without 8 of their regulars. Once those 8 are back, we would be facing a different Cameroon.

Nigeria will eliminate Bafana for AFCON 2019, also beat Cameroon - Rohr

Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr has said he expects his team to go past South Africa at home in June on their way to qualifying for AFCON 2019 and also edge past Cameroon in World Cup qualifiers beginning in August.

Rohr’s Eagles are drawn against South Africa, Libya and Seychelles for a place at the 2019 AFCON in Cameroon.

Nigeria welcome Bafana Bafana in June to get the AFCON qualifiers going.

“Nigeria cannot miss the AFCON again because it’s a big tournament to celebrate African football. I hope we will be there at the next tournament,” he said.

“But to do that we have to eliminate South Africa, who are a good team.

“We need a good preparation and organisation. We will have two friendly games next month and we have the possibility to test some new players and be together.”

He also spoke on the World Cup double header against Cameroon billed for August 28 in Uyo and September 2 in Limbe.

“The AFCON was a good tournament in Gabon and there were some good teams. The best team won the competition. We are interested in this team because we play them in the World Cup qualifiers,” he said.

“We’re happy for Cameroon, but we have to beat the African champions.

“But our game will only be in six months and a lot of things could happen during that time.”

yes the best you said

like every team, there comes a time when the players begin to age, and so their play will begin to dwindle
that was what happened when the likes of Okocha , Kanu etc retired and so the need to rebuild.

as it stands we are rebuilding already with a strong set of youths like Iheanacho from man city, Iwobi from asenal etc and the experience of Mikel etc

certainly we are heading back to the peak of African football and the world

Great! Last time, i was watching Nigeria vs. Argentina. Which was a match played long ago. Not the Brazil world cup which was made recent. I think Nigeria stood third on that world cup. I tell you, was so proud of 'em. You guys must keep on replacing the best players with the other best. Keep on doing well.

But I have something to say here. On the Brazil world cup qualification, Ethiopia had the chance to play with Nigeria in Addis. People in here say Ethiopians have attacked Nigerians after loosing the game. It's a lie. Please! Nobody did that, there's a video on youtube when both nations were celebrating together, no video when we do that.

I believe your report

because the atmosphere from when they landed in addis ababa till when the match was over was soo friendly

yes I can remember vividly, it was like nothing was at stake... just a game.

I also heard about the fight but I know it was just a way for journalist to sell their papers any way cheesy
