My dear, I don't want to make you sad but just take a look. If you have seen it before, take a 2nd look.

THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE!

N216/$ Is it Okay? grin

When this question was asked by APC everyone kept quiet, if only one person shouted Yes it is OK we won't be in this mess.
Re: Naira Tumbles To 503 On Parallel Market by seguno2:
This is NOT possible.
Buhari has stopped corruption.
No one is stealing money to buy dollars anymore.

Even the previously stolen dollars have been recovered.
So mischief makers should stop their rumours.
Dollar is not at N503.
It is now back at the N200 that Buhari and APC met in 2015.

We are in problem. One of which is that APC government is still refunding one of their main sponsors during last election in hard currency. The former governor has refused to receive his fund in local currency especially at CBN rate to Dollar. He had claimed that he spent in dollars and should be refunded in dollars.
This has caused a lot of strain on the party's and government's monetary reserve.
Sounds the miaow kitten of Ubilumamakpor. grin

The problem is not with the FX

But for the fact that we're a country that depends solely on imports is ridiculous.

But your leader was sick and didn't use a Nigerian hospital, how do you expect the Naira to appreciate when the leaders haven't provided the environment for its citizens to grow?

We import
IPhone
PlayStation

Xbox
cars
Computers
Mouse
Phones

The list is endless but have something in common, they are all as a result of advancement in Technology.. Until Africa reduce praying 24/7 to their pastors or Afa and start using our brain power to invent and advance in Technology, then we can start growing.

At this stage when other countries are making progress in many fields we are still stuck with the following
issues
1. Calling each other Afunjas and flat heads
2. Finding new oil wells
3. Bokoharam
4. Lack of Good roads and electricity
5. Burning the small thieves who stole maggi and welcoming the major thieves like Ibori who stole our children's future like he won the world cup
6. voting for leaders only because of they are from the same tribe or religion as you rather than voting for someone who is capable of doing the job
7.no funding or incentives for graduates who are performing well in school
8. Police will worship celebrities who over speed or drive roughly rather than arresting them
9. Police now openly collect bribe.
10.Dss are killing the freedom of speech
11. Eighty Percent of Nigerians are either uneducated or under educated...

12. Muslims vs Christians

Race to 1000 naira to a dollar. Perharps 2000 naira to a dollar by 2019.
This is a very useless democracy we are operating.
The 5000 naira note project is only a matter of time now.
