can u solve this quantitative question? i hv been battling wit it for over 6 hrs,,,and pls xplain hw u get ur answer... lalasticlala seun,pls help me move this to front page for larger audience

From the first example, 4*2= 8 , 3*5=15. 15-8= 7. Second example, 5*6=30, 7*8= 56. 56-30= 26

7*10=70, 8*6=48, 70-48=22

my own answer is 1


In sample 1: 7+4-5 = 7+2-3
In sample 2: 26+6-8 = 26+5-7

for the question: x+8-10 = x+6-7,
therefore, x-2 = x-1,
x = -1+2,
x = 1

That 22 seems correct though 'cos in all the samples, the number is the middle is always bigger than the rest. Thank you
